The seams that allow the bowl to collapse in on itself appear to be too frail for the intended use. I'm not expecting miracles for the money, but I'd like to get at least 6 months out of something.

The product appeared to be strong and sturdy, but the seams began to open and are now unusable; I was using this for long trips, and the holder broke a few days after purchase, but I had another one; after contacting the seller with pictures, they told me this was not their product because they sell the bowl with a Big Siliver Carabiner, and mine was blue; yes, it was different because the original broke in no time; don't waste your money on this; don't waste.

When I placed my order, I had no idea how much the carabiner would be useful. I thought I'd just throw it in a backpack for our long hikes, but as the summer heats up, it's come in handy for short walks around the neighborhood. There are water fountains in parks all over, and I can now simply clip to the leash. We can easily transport it. Extremely long lasting. I wasn't expecting it to be as big as it was, but that's on me for not paying attention when I was reading.

I keep these in my car for when I take my dog on errands, to the dog park, or on a hike because they take up very little space and make it easy to give her food and water at any time; plus, with the carabiner, I can just hook one to my backpack so she can drink water while hiking. br>br>Before buying these, I used a couple of soft cordura nylon bowls that were mostly used for a camping trip. They rolled up nicely, but I couldn't leave them wet for more than a few minutes before the water began to seep through the fabric. In addition, my dog appears to prefer these bowls because of their larger opening. If you enjoy outdoor activities with your dog, the few dollars are well spent.

We tried these out while backpacking. I wasn't sure how these would work with a giant dog, but they did. It was securely fastened to her backpack. While we were out and about, one of the clips broke, but it was minor. She was able to drink and eat from them with ease, and her large meal fit perfectly. We are very happy with our purchase, and we will continue to use and purchase it in the future.

Even larger than anticipated; The size is incredible; I took them on a hike with my three dogs and there was plenty of room for everyone. And there's enough water in them that we only had to fill them up once every time we stopped, rather than trying to keep filling them up while the dogs drank it until they stopped. Furthermore, both the bowls and the clips are of high quality, never releasing on their own or becoming stuck (as some cheaper clips do).

It was exactly what I was looking for, but after a few weeks of use, I've discovered that they don't keep their shape when opened and fold in on themselves. I'm not sure if it's because of the Arizona heat, but I'll be looking for something more durable.

Exactly as pictured and described in the description - It's ideal for my hurricane supply evac ready bin, but it can also be used for walks, hikes, and other outdoor activities. This is a fantastic product that I would strongly recommend.
