There is a great deal of strength in the chain. The two miniature Australian Shepherds I have weigh 17 lbs and 26 lbs, so it's almost too heavy for them. They enjoy going for a walk when it works for them. As they walk together, they seem to realize that it is not a good idea to be overly active. This helped me solve my problem.

weigh 79 and 93 pounds, and this Y-shaped dog bed is the perfect size The leash allows us to walk them both at the same time. By keeping each other in check, the pulling is greatly reduced. In addition to eliminating tangles, swivel clips are extremely useful. It's a good product, would recommend.
