But it did serve its purpose while she was still learning what it was. This leash is made of decent quality material and is a good average length. You just need to be aware that if you have a young puppy that is still learning about the leash, they might like to chew on it and might get cuts or lacerations. Any dog of any age or breed would benefit from the use of this leash. As it turned out, this was a good choice.

Good quality nylon makes up the majority of this leash. Unfortunately, the clip is a dangerous part of the leash, and IMO the most important part. First of all, my young Dog mix is 10 pounds and the clip is a little large for her, but then she doesn't seem to mind it, so neither do Clip springs have a weak spring, which is the cause of the problem. My retractable leash was half the strength of the one I was pulling when I hooked it up. As long as it's closed, it should be okay to access. This is incorrect. It is the first time my young daughter has done her dog shake without clipping it onto one of the loops on the harness (thank god there are two). As long as the mechanism is not replaced, I cannot give this more than 1 star unless your dog runs off or you are still training it. If your dog runs off or you are still training it, going outside could be a very dangerous situation.

This is the second leash I have purchased Although the first was fine, the second displayed a crack in the It has happened twice in the past week that the clasp on her collar has simply popped open, even when I have checked to make sure it is securely fastened before we leave. These two instances took place on a busy street where I live, so I was very scared. It's worth more than saving a few bucks on a cheap leash for my dog! You can always buy something better if you're willing to bite the bullet.

I have exactly what I wanted and what was advertised with this leash. A very accurate color match was made between the monitor and what I received of the purple "Dark Orchid" from my order. My only complaint about the handle is that it is a bit large, but I have no problem using it. To give you a sense of scale, I snapped a picture of it next to what I consider a "normal" handle size. A 5/8" leash shouldn't be too thick, but this is exactly how I would expect it. noticed that some reviews said it had a metal ring on the handle, but mine does not. There is also the problem that the clip is too large and for a toy breed it might be a bit big, but it is not heavy, very sturdy, and it takes a good push to open, so it is not going to open accidentally. My pet blueberry pet's coat is of excellent quality and will last a very long time. For reference, photos are of the Blueberry Pet 5/8" by 5 This is a Feet Classic Solid Dog Leash Made For Last (purple), and my current leash is an unknown brand that is 3/4" by 5 We are starting with our feet.

I like the products they offer. When my grandsons got a new pup, I immediately went to Blueberry Pet pages on Amazon to get a new collar and leash. I have already bought three collars from Blueberry Pet in the past. The collars I've purchased from Blueberry Pet have been very satisfied, but I have never used leashes from them. My dog is a rescue from another state, and he has not been leash trained at 4 months, so I chose the 5' by 3/4" size. He is expected to reach 60 pounds, so I chose the 5' by 3/4". As in he pulls on the leash, bites at it, twists it and otherwise abuses it. I have been using it for a month and it seems to be in good condition. It takes pup some time to walk on a leash, but he still chews and bites at it, so so far the leash has held up well.

The Blueberry boycott will continue until I am guaranteed that it will be A new leash has just arrived, and the 1-year-old is excited about it I am awarding this star rating because of the 2 super tight and tough nylon cable ties that are used on this product. These are totally unnecessary and are a safety hazard. Since they are so tightly fastened that it was impossible for one of the loops to be pulled through the nylon tie, we had no choice but I wish you the best of luck not cutting the leash while doing so. As I finally managed to cut through one, I accidentally sent the knife through the air because the pressure on the knife would cause it to fly through the air when the ridiculously tough nylon was finally penetrated. It was a mistake to buy two and I am returning one.

Unfortunately, the leash that I actually got had plastic rhinestones attached to the last twelve inches of it At the catch, the leash is 16 inches long. I ended up with a big chunk of webbing that I was unable to use, since the pictures for the listing didn't include anything like this. The important thing to remember is that if you are buying this for your dog, or small animal, you have to understand the final product may not look exactly like the picture online. Moreover, if the other reviews about animals chewing on the leash are true, then you have to worry doubly about your pet chewing off and swallowing the plastic beads. As a whole, I found this leash to be appropriate for my needs. However, if I had actually purchased this item as a dog lead and found those plastic rhinestones on an item that was not intended to have them, I would have returned it right away.
