The leash is eight feet long. In the past, big box stores sold a plain plain one as the standard. Clip is strong and durable. Since my cat's other leash is only 4 feet long and it's not long enough to allow her good mobility, I got the red leash so I can see better, and I got the 6 foot because I like the fact that it's easier to see. never walks on a leash, so I don't want to restrict her in any way. 1) I do believe this leash would also be helpful for ferrets and other small animals. We are not sure what would work with something like a small parrot, as it may be too heavy for the clip. A UPDATED summary It's really helping, my cat feels more assured walking around and exploring when on a leash now. The reason for her being so relaxed is partly that she is learning, and partly that she has more freedom with.

A wide 1" size is easier for me to grasp it makes it easier to hold on to it. Getting the 1" wide leash would be a good investment if your dog likes to pull. It is harder on your hands if you have a dog that pulls heavily if the leash is narrow. Most of the negative reviews are attributable to the metal components (clasp, lever, lock, and My experience after three years has not been the same, but then again, our 20-person staff is relatively small It takes two hours to walk a 90 lb pup. A mix of pit bulls weighing around 100 pounds. Our hands were injured from the massive pulling force of that dog who pulled so strongly on the leash that even though it survived it did put a lot of strain on the leash. If you have a large, heavy pulling dog, you ought to use padded handles on the leash. I can honestly say that all the time I've had this leash, it has never come undone on me. With regards to the nylon fabric, we see no issues thus far it hasn't failed to fray or rip during our testing. In order to provide an idea of how we utilize this leash, it has been consistently used every day for over three years at an average of one time per day. The number of hours in the day is 25. It is perfect for dogs that are small to medium in size. As long as your dog is not a heavy puller, it will work great even with large dogs.

This pink leash is for my 5-pound pomeranian that lives in potty training The confusion is now cleared up since everyone thought she was a boy. As of last week, I have used it almost daily, and I have not had any problems with it. Initially, I was worried the clasp was too large for my animal, but she doesn't seem to mind at.

A very small jagged piece of the lever on the clasp has broken off, digging into your thumb when you open or close As I described in a review, I tried to call customer service a few times, but it kept ringing busy. If you could please refund me or exchange me, I would really appreciate it.
