This seems like a heavy duty toy for a cat, but I can see why you would not use it when your cat pulls at all. Likewise, I would get the leash a small, but sturdy collar to keep him tied.
It is indeed black, so I thought it was plastic, but it is made of This is a great leash if you have a chewer and a puller.
It looks like it could be machine washed even though I haven't tried it yet. If I were you, I would probably hand wash it as opposed to putting it in the washer so it won't get tangled. For washing machines, it may be more practical to wash it in a mesh laundry bag.

Making a decision on which one to purchase is difficult. As much as you hope for an honest review, which I promise you this is, I assure you. The reviews for this particular brand gave me quite a bit of confidence in my decision, driving me to purchase it. Having the choice of many different color/style combinations was also one of the best things. While on vacation with my dog, I took him on a long hike. I was able to keep her in sight and under control with the help of this leash. There is no doubt that the quality and thickness of the nylon is The author has done a good job A leash built by hand. In addition to the exceptional quality of the handle, there is an ample amount of padding under there so that you never feel anything but a soft grip under your hand.
The included clip is also of exceptional quality so there should be no worry about it failing during use. There are not enough positive things to say about this leash and the quality of the material. The endurance is definitely there for the long term. Make your purchase without hesitation.
It gives me the sense of control I need when I walk my 150 lb Saint Bernard. Because I like having a padded handle above my elbow in case the dog starts pulling it is much easier to control him. He is a strong puller, and since I've had it so long it hasn't frayed or broken.
Since I do not know any dogs that can pull 500 pounds, I am not worried about these breaking. The reflective vests are highly visible and will make it easy for you to spot them. These are incredibly cheap for the quality they provide.
The leash is on the cheap side, so I won't be too harsh in my judgment. I do not feel like it is sturdy at all. used rope style leashes before, and this one feels as if it has loose outer sheathing, and the inner part that gives a rope strength appears to be lacking. The biggest issue I have with it is the fact that my pup will be over 100 pounds at maturity, and I'm not sure I'll be able to trust it. I dislike the cheap foam handle on the leash, so I cut it off right away and made it much more comfortable and secure, to my taste. I always loop a leash through itself and then over my wrist for extra security, and the foam get's Although this is a personal preference thing and I knew that foam would come off when I ordered it, I did not subtract any stars for There is no big deal here. The rubber corner that slides over the clip connection at the leash's clip end is loose, allowing it to slide up and down the leash, you might consider gluing it. It's only cosmetic, but it's still frustrating. Despite its fine looks, I am not certain that it will still be useful when he's a big adult. Overall, it's a fine leash with a practical design that works as it should for a 45 pound puppy.
First rope leash I've had and it copes with the task of chewing pretty well. I just got a puppy who loves to chew on the leash, but so far this one is holding up quite I'm used to the retractable ones, so I'd like it come in a longer length. This is something I would recommend to anyone who chews.
It needs to be modified to have a foam handle and a bag dispenser. Despite its basic appearance, this leash has an amazing pattern. This is a really neat design with good colors. A seamless look is achieved through the use of silicone around the looped parts of the leash. However, the foam handle and bag dispenser are not to my liking. The handle of my puppy got stuck in it and my puppy I bought this product because it looked like it was chew-resistant, which is true for the most part. However, now I have a partially chewed handle on my leash that looks The bag dispenser has also broken off in a few weeks, though it's only been a couple weeks. My leash attachment part on the leash broke on its own and I'm having to purchase a new one.
little guy, a doxie/poo, is not much bigger than me, but he loves to run and chase everything he encounters, and once he does it, he is so proud of himself. Hunting would actually be a good idea for him. My 4-year-old dog had a retractable leash of 16 feet so he could run more because he has no yard to run in. I bought it for a fair price, but it frayed badly after about a year. The collar was made for a bigger dog, and he is only the size of a small dog. There is a very busy street where I live, so if this happened he would be killed, as if he saw something fun he would run after it. There was no way my heart could bear this to happen. That makes sense to me. The harness is very heavy and this will not break if he wears it with a harness, but if he did not wear a harness, the harness would be too heavy and he would break it quickly. To make sure he still has a chance to run, I will get him an extension. In addition, I have the best leash and harness in the world (no joke) from RopeNGo, but wanted one that was longer. If they have a harness, it can be worn or used by kids.
A foam product is of no use. In general, this is a quality product there is some give to it so if your dog pulls there is some indication before it's too tight. The braiding is well done, and the leather looks very nice. There are a number of bad things There is just a static foam on the clip end that moves up and down with There is no tear resistance in the foam on the handle. The moment it has any cuts, it begins to split. An image taken a day after the newspaper was torn by about 1/4 inch can be seen above.
