I bought two of these (Medium Size, Blue and Green) for my very fast growing American Bulldog/Mastiff mix puppies, simply because the price was right and we will need larger ones down the road. As opposed to just the back ring, there is one on the chest as well. Nevertheless, once the dogs outgrow the first set of harnesses, we will definitely continue purchasing them after the next size up comes out because we are in love with them. It's also nice to have a handle on the back that helps to control them a bit closer to the body, as well as to help them into the car. I've tried countless products to keep my dog from pulling during walks, and she normally prefers to choke herself to death instead of walking When I first used this product, the leash was attached to the D-ring on the front of the device This was the first time she walked next to me calmly. The only pulling issues we encountered were when I first put it on the first time and she realized pulling was not going to work for her and when she noticed some rabbits along the route. Her body would move back toward the leash and lift her front leg after she pulled each time she did so. It took her between 30 seconds and one minute for her to realize that pulling was not working. My family and I recommend this harness very highly and will continue to use it, as it has been a blessing If any issues arise with the harness as I use it more, I will update this post.

The sheer magnitude of this is just incredible. It was a lot of fun last night taking my dog for a walk. It is also the only 'no pull' harness that has prevented my German Shepherd from pulling me off my feet out of the four that I've tried. hates being strapped down to anything except her head, but with this harness' neck buckle, putting it on her went from those crazy wrestling matches to nothing at all. Walking like a dream, she took every step with grace. My dog has been trained for years. I see other people being dragged by their dogs (usually me) and I passed them like my dog has been doing this for years. The best recommendation I can give is to use this. As a matter of fact, I am in the process of buying another one.

While she was a prison companion, she spent the first few years of her life.
