I don't hear any noise. I don't see any crinkly bits. The fact that it is waterproof is really surprising since it looks like a blanket with a lot of little rubber stickers.
The 68x82 is what I ordered. As a queen size it fits perfectly. The sides hang over a bit, but I appreciate that my dogs cannot dig under it from the side. If I want to use it as a normal size blanket, it is large enough to provide plenty of space. As a matter of fact, I fold mine in half to protect from the middle to the foot, otherwise my head and middle would get too hot. It is my hope that this has helped.
