There is probably no way to make this work if you have a dog that likes to chew at their feet. velcro strips do help keep the socks in place, but my dog managed to remove them nonetheless. Therefore, the dog's job depends on the dog. Otherwise, I think they do their job well. This is the small size for my medium sized dog that weighs about 25 lbs. In addition to the large, I purchased the medium, but they were huge and had no Velcro. It would be best if they had Velcro so that they would stay put.
Good product with excellent traction, I shared these photos to commemorate my great and best friend who will soon be in the Rainbow Bridge

He had been mistreated and abused before he came to us, and had never allowed anyone close to As a result, he scratches his nails because they are difficult to trim. His long toenails could cause him to injure himself if he scratches them. We got these socks in order to avoid that. I found them to be stretchy enough so that he could easily put them on. In case he scratched them, they were substantial enough to keep him from getting injured. It wasn't too heavy so he could wear them easily, because they didn't bother him with their weight. Their purpose was perfectly suited to what we needed.
The perfect solution for my needs. There are a lot of dog booties that are knitted and crocheted It is very easy for the dog's nails to get caught in the loops. I am my dog's owner. There is a tighter knit to these. The dog licked the paw creams off before they were absorbed, so we bought these to keep it from doing so. I am pleased with how things are going so far. " & " The tile floors in our house are not slippery for the dog.
My dog's paws are protected from dirt and scorching pavement thanks to these pads. In the past, shoes always came off when I tried them.
It was easy to put them on and take them off due to the stretch material.
Despite looking great and appearing to be well made, they fell off as soon as my dog started walking. It was even easier to measure her with a fabric tape, but that did not work either.
