It was okay for the first set. I often had to pick them up off of my dogs feet. After a couple of weeks, three of the socks were already worn out. The second pair was worst, they slipped off the feet a lot and all three were torn. As compared to the first two, this pair is of better quality. have a nice soft feel and are thicker than most shoes. Furthermore, they do not slip off easily and As of now, it's still too early to tell whether they will eventually be good, but compared to the other brands I bought, these are by far the best! I like how they come with two packs of socks as well. Velcro is not something I have used and I do not plan to use it.
