She was a mixed breed Chi who had an accident that ripped her dewclaw away, which is a dog's fingernail that is on the side of the Therefore, I was using one of my peds that I cut in half and put over the treated wound with gauze and non stick bandages. As I was looking at these socks for dogs, I thought they looked even better with the Velcro strap around the neck. These are unfortunately too big for her small foot she weighs 15 pounds but has a small foot. For the bandage to stay attached to her paw, I just cut the Velcro strap off and wrapped it with the bandage. The dog socks are great, and I'm still glad I got them! When I move to Texas, these will also be great to put on her. She gets VERY hot on the sidewalks and pavement because her little paws are so small.

I love these socks for my Shih Tzu, they are amazing.
I like the way it fits.

They are exactly what I was looking It seems like my dog is allergic to something, we still cannot figure out what. She gets these skin eruptions on her feet that she licks and they are bald because they are raw and will never She is now ready to go. I put all of her first aid wraps on her feet and slip one of these on. I tighten the Velcro and she is all I found that keeping her from licking her toes along with medicine that works just fine combined with this kept her from licking. I usually have to leave for maybe a day, and she's pretty much healed by the time I take it all off. Additionally, they are adorable.
