As is typical with larger litter genies, the plus size refills come with more bags than the regular size refills and standard Litter Genies. As far as Litter Genie and refills are concerned, the Original one is "standard.". In comparison to the original, the PLUS is taller and larger.

It's hard for me to recall whether it came with a refill cartridge, so if it doesn't say anything about it in the description, I'd guess it doesn't. my skateboard came with the plastic scooper and holder on the side, though I threw out the scooper and decided to just use the metal one, as I prefer it to the plastic one. At the same time as I ordered the box, I got a bunch of refills. Even though the refills seem pricey, if you are smart about how you use them, you can get a lot of use out of them. The name suggests that it works similarly to a Diaper Genie, but only for indigestible products! Both this product and the Litter Locker 2 have been tested by me. The litter locker was my preferred choice for several reasons, even though this one was nice and worked as advertised. Even though both appear to contain odor fairly well, the litter genie is much smaller than the locker, so it can fill up faster, and because of that, it needs to be emptied out more frequently. The litter locker also comes apart from the top, unlike the genie, which has a top part that Consequently, you are unable to remove that part from the rest of the case, making cleaning difficult. Having to dump dirty litter in here tends to make this portion of the locker quite messy, so it comes in handy to be able to remove and fully sanitize this section, which makes the locker cleaner and more desirable. The last, and probably most important reason for me is that I will use the litter locker instead of refills, since I will get more space to store garbage bags. I am in awe of this machine! I was beginning to wonder how my two cats are still so cute when I had to take them out three or four times a day. Twice a month, I use this thing.
