Questions & Answers

What is the item's measurement?

It's a difficult question to answer. at best.br>The dimensions around the top of the pan are significantly larger than those around the bottom.
Once the tapered dimensions are taken into account, one loses close to 30% of pan area. br>Jumbo: "Jumbo" is a term used to describe a large quantity of 22 x 16. 5 x 6. 18 x 15 x 6 (18 x 15 x 6) (near the top)br> (near the bottom of the page) 5

Are the measurements they provide accurate? I'm very concerned about the dimensions. ?

My personal opinion is that Just make certain you choose the correct one from the four options. My only experience is with the Jumbo, which meets all of the specifications. br>Jumbo 6 br>Jumbo 6 br>Jumbo 6 5 x 16. Large 15. 5 x 22 inbr> 3 x 18. Medium 4 x 12 x 16 inbr>Small 3 x 5 inbr>Small 3 x 5 inbr>Small 3 x 5 inbr>Small 3 x 5 inbr>Small 3 5 x 10. 5 x 14 in

It's clear that the measurements are incorrect: What exactly are these things?

They're incorrect, Debbie. I bought this litter pan quite some time ago, and it is much larger than the description suggests. 18"L x 15"W x 5"D is the size. Overall, the litter box is a good size.

What color is the large one going to be? It offers two colors, but you don't appear to be able to choose which one you prefer. ?

You won't be able to choose the color, I believe. I placed an order for three and received one blue and two gray.

compared to the original For YEARS, I've been purchasing Petmate jumbo litter pans
3/5

Petmate used to sell four old enclosed litterboxes, which I still have. They used this exact pan (before they redesigned it) when it was flat-sided and the top edges weren't as curved. The design has obviously changed, and not for the better. What's the point of messing with a good thing? I used to replace the bottoms of the literboxes once a year, but now that they've changed the design, they're no longer useful to me. It says it's the same size, but it won't fit under the petmate litter box tops I still have. Shame on PETCO for changing the design of a perfectly wonderful cat box that was once easy to clean. Why isn't there a simple rectangular litter box with regular corners and flat sides available? Designers, apparently, never clean cat boxes. With the curves molded into the sides and the strange large lip on the long sides, these pans have become a nightmare. I'm looking for a jumbo box with straight sides and regular edges. Does anyone know where I could find one? Please let us know if this is the case.

SMALL - Keep in mind that these are very sturdy, great little litter boxes, so keep that in mind
5/5

They're quite small, which is ideal for my bunnies! They'd be fine for a kitten, but not for an adult cat. I am extremely pleased.

The JUMBO box measures 16"x22" and is grey (rather than 18"x22" or blue)
3/5

18"x22" is the size of the JUMBO cat box. It was 16" x 22" when I measured it. The product's label reads 16, according to the label. 5"x22". 18"x22" was exactly what I needed. It was also said to be blue, but it turned out to be grey.

I found exactly what I needed
5/5

I hope my photos convey the size of the item; it's difficult to tell just by looking at a picture. br>I'm fostering four two-month-old kittens and needed a small litter pan to keep them in their dog crate at night. I was worried it would be too big for a crate, but it's exactly the right size. Walmart used to sell ones a little smaller, but I couldn't find one, so I used an oven pan that someone recommended. It was satisfactory, but it lacked depth. br>During the day, the kittens use the larger litter box with a low front, as shown above. Due to the presence of litter in the box, I did not turn it over, but the base is slightly larger than this small one. For those who say it's too small, it is, which is why it's listed as a "small," but I don't believe it's micro. I've seen a lot worse. It'd be ideal for kittens while also being tough enough for a rabbit. They can't kick litter out because the sides are high enough, but they can still jump in because they're low enough. It's also tough enough that a bunny won't rip it apart like they would with a "bunny" litter box. br>I would use this temporarily or inside a large crate if you are welcoming a new kitten into your home or fostering, but I would definitely go with a much larger size if you plan on using it for a full-grown cat.

Design flaws! This pan's sides have a curved design that is pleasing to the eye
3/5

However, when it comes to cleaning up the used litter, it only adds to the hassle. The indentations of the box make it difficult to clean if your cat urinates close to the sides or on the side. I only kept this box for a few weeks before it became too difficult to clean around the curves, so I tossed it. It's also labeled as Jumbo, but it doesn't appear to be that big. For what turned out to be a disposable pan, I paid far more than it was worth. I see that the price has dropped nearly 75% and I still don t think it would be worth it.

It's simple to clean and long-lasting
5/5

For my three children, I chose the medium size. To use as a litter box, he has a 5-pound bunny. With enough space to turn around, he fits right in. It's simple to clean and long-lasting. He tried biting it, but it didn't work out so well, so he gave up quickly.

Size matters a lot - The term "large" is deceptive
3/5

I adore Petmate products, but when ordering, I didn't pay attention to the actual dimensions and instead chose large, which I assumed would be large. wrong. I have a second Petmate box that is almost three times the size I received and is truly "large" for adult cats. This is about the size of a kitten's box. Please double-check the measurements. I'm giving it two stars because I believe the product information is deceptive, despite the fact that I didn't double-check and made my decision based on a previous purchase; don't make the same mistake I did.

It's ideal for your furry friend
4/5

babies. This year, I have two rabbits. In March, there was a baby lion head, and in May, there was a baby English Lop. This was the ideal situation for them both. br>When I first brought Trouble home as a baby, she weighed only two pounds. She slept in the litter box as well. As she grew older, I noticed that her butt would protrude over the edge when she sat in it. Pee/poop would end up on my carpet near the litter box's and cage's edges. It was a pain to scrub. I eventually got rid of it and replaced it with an adult litter box designed for cats that are very large. She weighed 16 pounds and 4 ounces at her last checkup in November. This litter box, on the other hand, is ideal for pets weighing less than 5 pounds. So I gave it to Desi once Trouble had grown out of it. When I first got Desi, he weighed only a pound. He now weighs 4 pounds and 6 ounces as an adult. He also looks great in the kitten litter box. I keep a box on top because he has a habit of peeing down the walls to mark territory and irritate her, and if I put the box on top, he won't be able to do so. In the box, he can even stretch out his entire body and be completely relaxed. He's also a tad bit of a hoarder. I only have to clean his cage twice a week and his box three times a week. It's nice and clean after a couple of Clorox wipes and a thorough hose-down. br>Her new litter box is featured in a few of the photos. You may wonder why I included them. br>Well, this is a kitten litter box, and your babies aren't going to stay small for much longer. So keep in mind that you'll have to upgrade at some point. But in the meantime, this litter box is ideal.
