Questions & Answers

What happened to the cat litter box liners?

They don't have any, I'm sure. This is the box I have, and I use the pretty litter, and it's very easy to clean. Simply take it outside, place it in a trash bag, and hose it off.

What is the maximum weight capacity of the top? Mine would rather sit on it as if it were a toilet. He weighs in at 20 pounds. ?

My hefty companion weighs in at 22 pounds. He enjoys sitting on the ledge as well. The lid is very sturdy; simply snap it shut after scooping to keep it from slipping off the base.

Is it possible to remove the top so that it can be cleaned more easily?

It's incredibly simple to clean the top!

Is this big enough for a chubby cat?

I have two cats, one larger and the other smaller, and they both fit. My sister-in-law had a Garfield-sized cat, and he was also a good fit.

It's more difficult to clean because of the round shape
3/5

This litter box was a mistake on my part. It was a fantastic deal. The design is the source of the problem. Because the clay litter urine balls stick to the sides and the scoops are square rather than round, it's difficult to get them out because of the rounded ends. Plus, because they're rounded, there's less volume, which means there's less room for bigger cats and litter. This necessitates more frequent refilling. It might work better with Smart Cat's natural grass seed-based litters, which I'm switching to right now. I'll keep an eye on it. However, it falls far short of my other Clever Cat litter boxes, taking twice as long to clean because I have to literally scrape the rounded ends to get the litter that adheres there after breaking off the clumps removed during normal cleaning. Simply lift the scooper straight up the side of the litter box, and it scrapes any remaining stuck litter off the back of the litter box in one smooth motion, Cleaver Cat.

The box is fantastic! So, I literally just received this package in the mail a few minutes ago, and the box it came in was large enough for me to sit in and ship myself if I really wanted to

br>br>The litter box itself isn't as large as I expected, but the shape makes it more compact, which is exactly what I needed for my bathroom. br>I poured a few inches of litter into the bottom and placed my kitten in the opening to show her what was inside; she had to "christen" her new potty spot right away, and everything was fine. She had already figured out how to get in and out, with no issues. br>br>I really like it, and I no longer have litter on my floor!.

Do you have a litter-spreader on your hands? With THIS box, that is no longer the case! So, it appears that one of my cats enjoys digging through the litter box for a nice, hard, litter-covered turd and batting it around like he's the next Neymar

All the toys I've just bought, piled up and forgotten about, are 3 inches to his left. br>br>Then there's the cat who thinks she has to dig all the way to China every time she comes in - Leaves, for example. She walks away from the litter box, scattering litter all over the floor, as if she has no idea what just happened, looking as surprised and shocked as I am. br>br>I took a chance with the high-rise boxes. br>It didn't work out. br>br>I experimented with the ones that had a "scatter shield. " "br>It didn't work out. The only thing it protected were a few litter granules that weren't flung hard enough to pass through the small gap. br>br>I even tried those litter mats that are supposed to catch the litter and allow it to sift down to the bottom layer before being picked up and thrown away.
Ha! Oookay. No way, no how. Then I see this box. br>br> Well, it's more of an oval shape, but you get the idea. The lid is open on one end and has holes on the other, allowing litter caught between their paws to fall into the pan. The lid's lock is extremely effective. I ordered a large because my one who thinks digging is a fun sport weighs about 15 pounds and wouldn't fit in a smaller box. br>br>I ordered a large because my one who thinks digging is a fun sport weighs about 15 pounds and wouldn't fit in a smaller box. br>br>I ordered a large because my one who thinks digging is a fun sport weighs about 15 pounds and wouldn't fit oval is a good description. br>br>It's recommended that you leave the new box out for your cat(s) to inspect before using it. After that, transport it to their litter box area, fill it with litter, and then remove the litter box. Remove another one after a few days. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no I removed their old boxes and replaced them with these, which were filled with new litter. br>br>My turd-playing mister has retired from turd-playing. He is unable to remove them. Bud, I apologize for the inconvenience. The ceiling is too high, and the walls are too tall. My digger is no longer able to spread litter. She now simply digs, and the litter lands on the walls before returning to the box. br>br>These are well worth the money. br>br>However, I'll warn you that cleaning them is a b! th. It's a little difficult to get a scoop down into them because they're oval. However, I'd rather fight that than have litter-covered turds strewn about my house or litter strewn across my floor.

It's as good as it sounds
5/5

Because my cats would kick the litter out of the box, my bathroom was quickly becoming a beach. It was nearly impossible to keep up with the sweeping. But there was no room for a bigger litter box in there. I'd been eyeing this box for a while when I noticed my next-door neighbor walking around with it (I believe he was about to hose it down). I inquired as to how he felt about it, and he stated that he enjoyed it and that it significantly reduced tracking. As a result, I jumped in. It lived up to the hype, for the most part. There is very little to no tracking. My daughter (8 pounds) was a natural at it. My 9-pound boy still prefers the larger, hooded litter box I keep in another room, but he will use the top-mounted litter box as well. When I'm cleaning the other one, I'll use it as an entry box. There are no issues that I have. I believe I will eventually replace the hooded box with another.

In my house, there are more disadvantages than advantages
3/5

So, if your dogs eat cat litter, this, in my opinion, will definitely work. However. It is not without its drawbacks. To name a few, the litter box's shapebr>makes it extremely difficult to keep clean. It's difficult to scrape off the round parts of the cats' pee when they pee. If you have average adult cats, they will not fit in the litter box, so they will all pee and poop in the same spot, making it extremely difficult if you have multiple adult cats. br>This makes it smell even worse than an average litter box! My final gripe is that when the cats leave, there is still cat litter all over the top and floor. I bought three of these and have already thrown away two of them, so I'm going to get a regular litter box now. Rather than continuing to use this, I would rather invest in a baby gate and a regular cat litter box. Which I've squandered a large sum of money on. But, as they say, we must live and learn.

I am pleased with my purchase! My sister-in-law suggested the top entry box, but I was hesitant to try it with our older cat because she is picky
5/5

When we got new kittens, we needed to get another box, so we decided to try top entry. We're so happy we went! So far, it's been a hit with us and the cats! br>br>This box is easy to use thanks to a few clever design features. A scoop hook on the side keeps it close at hand for cleaning. It has a built-in "hook" or "hanger" on the lid that allows you to hang the back lid while cleaning (rather than putting it on the floor). When the kitty jumps out, the holes on top allow some of the litter to fall back in. br>br>We paid less than $20 for it, which seemed fair given the thickness of the plastic and the features. We ended up purchasing a second because each cat requires its own box. I'm happy with my purchase overall!.
