Questions & Answers
Hello, and thank you so much for getting in touch with us. Our Fresh Step Litter Box Deodorizing Pods should not be used inside your diaper genie.
- Fetch for Pets has your back.
I'm guessing launndry rather than floral. It's okay, but the arm and hammer baking soda deodorizer 16 oz has a better scent and is more effective. Sprinkle some on top of the "motherload" instant neutralizing before scooping or mix some in your litter box. I couldn't find it at the time, so I chose this product instead.
This isn't something I'd put up on the wall. I installed these inside the wall of my plastic litter box, and it took a lot of force to remove the old ones and replace them. When you pull this off a wall, it will definitely ruin the paint.
Whatever the case may be. It's not going to work. Unless the litter box is in a very small room, I would not purchase it. Otherwise, it went unnoticed by me.

When I first saw this product, I was ecstatic to give it a try! For the past nine years, I've been purchasing Fresh Step litter for my cats. Fresh Step is the only litter that, in my opinion, lives up to its claims of workability. I honestly didn't consider the possibility of receiving this product and disliking it, given how impressed I've always been with Fresh Step's litter. br>br>Since they were kittens, my cats and I have shared a single litter box. They are lifelong friends because they came from the same kitten litter. I scoop their litter at least twice a day, if not three times; As a result, there isn't a lot of odor. I believe it is important to point out that I did not purchase this product in order to eliminate odor. I bought a pack of these in the hopes of adding a little scent to the litter box area, but I can't comment on the odor removal aspect of this product. (I understand that this product is an "odor eliminator," but it also states that it is scented, so you'd think you'd be able to smell it. ) My cat's litter box is kept in a small utility closet adjacent to our second bathroom. Because there isn't much space, any scent provided by the product should be detectable. I only put one of the scented odor balls on the side of their litter box at first. I had the vents all the way open. I waited an entire day and received no response. I completely opened the second ball and placed it on top of the first. nothing. br>br>To be honest, I'm not even upset that the product is bad; I'm more upset that it's made by Fresh Step, a company that has never let me down with their products. I've since removed the scented odor balls from the litter box and discarded them. We are constantly learning and growing. I would not purchase this product again, nor would I recommend it to others.
In the past, I used Hammer litter box deodorizer, but the stock was always out, so I switched to good ole Arm & Hammer. Hammer baking soda works best and leaves no overpowering odors for my kitty. I also have a kitty who shares the box with my Maine Coone and she leaves a scent that a match can't cover when she does her duty! ,I'm a big fan of fresh step litters and crystal deodorizers, so I decided to give these a try. I wasn't going to give them one because they don't smell! I tried all three settings and nothing worked. I even tried both of them in the hopes that the first was a dud, but it didn't work. I'm now using incense to mask/cover and get rid of the horrible smells that emanate from my lovely furry butts! I wouldn't waste my money on these, and I'm not sure if mine are duds. I'm disappointed in this product and would never buy it again, and I don't recommend it even if it's a dud. It took 4 days to receive (I'm a prime member) and another 4 days to return them if I hadn't used them. 7 days for Amazon to refund my $3 and change, plus who knows how long it would take to try something else, and then we'd be fixated on the horrible waste?! 🙀. This is one of Amazon's biggest disappointments, and it's one of the reasons I alternate between using and not using its services.
I'm not sure why the reviews are so negative. This was effective in meeting my objectives. I have three cats and clean my litter box twice daily. After scooping, there used to be a faint odor of urine. I was blown away when I discovered one of these on the underside of the shelf above the litter box. no smell! These aren't for you if you're looking for a floral scent. But if you want to get rid of the litter box odor without bothering your cats, I'd suggest these little pods.
These have a pleasant odor, but they have no effect on the odor of the litter box's surroundings. I'm glad this didn't cost more than a few dollars, so I'll just throw them in the carrier or my closet and see what happens, but I won't buy this product again.
It had a foul odor. I already use Fresh Step litter and the crystals you sprinkle in the box, so I figured this would be fun to try because it was so inexpensive. Who wants a stench-filled box, after all? The scent was terrible; it didn't smell like the crystals or the litter (both of which were new and unused), so I threw them out.
When I used these, I didn't notice much of a difference. Also, the little ball had a hard time staying in the litter box and sticking to it. My cat, on the other hand, was always begging to play with it. I'm not sure I'll buy anything else in the future. I strongly discourage you from doing so.
It's simple to use, and the scent isn't overpowering, so allergies and pets aren't bothered. It does a good job of keeping the litter box odor at bay. One went on the inside of our breeze system, while the other went in the drawer.
I'm not impressed with it in the least, and I don't believe it accomplished anything. I only have one cat, and I clean her litter box on a daily basis. Anything is that I use it for litter and it smells great, but it was a complete waste of money.
