Questions & Answers
It's designed to be used with clumping litter only. I believe the sifter's holes are too small to accommodate wood pellets.
I don't use Slide very often because it doesn't stick very well, but if the crystals are small enough to fall through the sifter, I don't see why you couldn't.
Well, I hope so because my cats adore it. They sleep and nap in it, and you can't take it away from them.
My cat is too big to fit comfortably with the removable top part on, so I don't use it. Here's how to put them together: br>br> Sifter, sifter, sifter. 1. br>br> Dump the dirty litter from the top pan onto the sifter and the bottom pan. If there's any wet litter clinging to the bottom of the top (now empty) pan, I hose it down and dry it.
2. Shake the sifter from side to side until all of the litter has been sifted through, then discard the contents.
3. Place the sifter in the empty clean pan, then place the pan containing the sifted litter on top. It's simple! br>br> For each pan, I spend about 5 minutes. I prefer Slide brand litter because it doesn't stick to the pan as much as other clumping litters, but any clumping litter will suffice.

I went from cleaning cat boxes for up to 25 minutes to less than ten minutes. And I'm not going to be scooping for 15 minutes. My back greatly appreciates the 20-minute break. I just wish it was a little bigger for my 18-pound dog. fella who sits on the edge of the box and digs before entering.
Excellent product that is simple to use and assists people who have trouble scooping due to arm or back injuries.
The sides are far too short to provide adequate protection from spray that escapes the box.
The product arrived slightly damaged, with one of the side clips broken, and they refused to accept a return. You'll still need to use a scooper because the product doesn't do what it claims.
