Questions & Answers

Is it possible for someone to tell me the exact dimensions? What are the length, width, back height, and opening height? Thanks?

Thank you for getting in touch. The litter box measures 23" long by 18" wide. 5" in width by 11" in height. From the floor to the lowest part of the opening in the front of the litter box, it measures about 5". The litter box is widest at the top and narrows toward the bottom, as some product owners have noted. Nature's Miracle can be reached at PetSupport@spectrumbrands for additional assistance. com.

What prevents the cat from kicking litter out the front of the box because the enternce is much lower than other standard boxes?

NOTHING! Nothing will keep your cat from peeing on your floor if you leave it open. That is why I have to return my box. I'm thankful that I'm still within my return window. If the entrance wasn't so low, it would have been a fantastic product. I've thrown out the box it came in, but I'm grateful for Home Depot's $3 price. 99 moving boxes of medium size!

What is the entrance opening's height?

Thank you for getting in touch. The opening is approximately 5 inches from the ground at its lowest point. Nature's Miracle can be reached at PetSupport@spectrumbrands for additional assistance. com. We are delighted to be of assistance.

Owners of cats with paralyzed back legs should consult the following resources: Please tell me if your back legs are completely paralyzed. The same thing happened to my old girl recently. Please get in touch. ?

Hi - I have a cat with crippled back legs, and I came across this 3" opening box. There are two different models to choose from: There's one show and one with a side opening that's a lot longer. It also works for my larger cats, though litter does escape through the doorway. The BetterBox Litter Box from PetFusion is a convenient way to keep your pet clean.

Litter box of good quality
5/5

This is an excellent cat residence. This box works well as a cat box. Although it's a good size, the box's high sides haven't stopped our cat from flinging litter all over the place. However, neither has another box, so it's more likely that the blame lies with the cat rather than the box. br>br>However, we wound up purchasing two. We left the first one we bought upside down on the floor while we waited for it to be replaced. That's when we figured out what this box was for: a house for cats It's the ideal size and shape for turning upside down and using as a cat house. You can see where our cats like to spend about 4 hours per day in the photo. As a result, while it's a good litter box, it's also a fantastic cat house.

The box is in good working order, but the kitty is damaged
4/5

This actually accomplishes its goal. I don't like covering with a lidded box because I'm afraid the air inside will choke me, so why should my Bubby be suffocated? Libby conducts herself in a proper ladylike manner and exits with grace. In her jelly bean toes, there was no real mess. Excessive scatter is prevented by the high sides. Bubby is one of those "adventurous" cats who thinks everything is a game to be won. He starts digging as if he's looking for hidden treasure, then grabs handfuls of litter and PITCHES it over the sides. This is insufficient to cover his job, so he'll keep scrabbling and pitching until he's satisfied that he's removed enough litter, at which point he hops out and bounces away as if the floor were hot lava. He's still a kitten, despite the fact that he's the size of canned ham. I'm hoping he'll realize what I'm talking about. Okay, the first photo is of Bubby, who was taken several months ago. That's my broken Bubbles in the second photo.

Great box; I wish it was taller, but there aren't any available
4/5

This is the most effective litter box I've found. I took a star off because I thought it should have been three. 5 inches taller and deeper. I made my own litter box out of a tall enough plastic storage bin, but it had some disadvantages. br>br>I like this litter box because of the following reasons:
- Exceptionally high-quality sided. Yes, I wish it were taller, but it's the tallest litter box I'm aware of that isn't a covered litter box (my cats prefer open air) AND it's one piece, so there's no seam to get stuff stuck in.
- The corners are rounded and there are no grooves on the surface. You'll have a nice, smooth scooping experience as a result of this. I despise it when litter gets stuck in the dips and grooves of other litter boxes (a problem I had with my homemade box as well).
- Except for the area where they walk in, the box's entrance is the same height as the rest of the box. This is a significant advantage over other boxes, which get lower in the front. One of the main reasons I don't use one of those triangular boxes is because it's too big for me. My cats have favorite spots in the house and enjoy testing their peeing abilities (apparently).
- Handles for carrying. It was merely a pleasant surprise. br>br>[Photo explanation] One of my cats likes to hang out in the back left corner, and he's the one who pushes the boundaries. So, I cut up a plastic placement (sorry, dog. ) to solve the problem. ) and affix it to the appropriate location. It's a little disgusting, but I'm at a loss for what to do. Perhaps duct tape will be my next option. br>If you don't tape it to the inside of the box, pee will run down the seam and out the front. br>br>2 other suggestions:
- This box is significantly less expensive on Amazon than it is in stores ($11 vs $22)br>- I discovered a scooper with a slight rounded shape that was designed for another round litter box. It's a great match for this box. It was only about $13 but it was well worth it. br>br>For my four cats, I have two of these litter boxes.

Who came up with the concept? What is Google Glass, exactly? I'm so happy I went with the high-end option

a sided litter box (with an inconveniently low opening) This is how the first day went.

The entry isn't particularly low, but the sides are definitely higher
3/5

This item is designed for cats who require a low threshold of entry. That is only partially correct. I've included a photo of my regular cat box next to this one to demonstrate how minor the difference is. The sides are much higher, which contributes to the entry looking lower. br>br>What is more obvious and stated is that the sides are much higher, which contributes to the entry looking lower. In all honesty, the only difference is a scooped out front that isn't much lower than a standard box. br>However, because the scooped-out portion is also quite narrow, a larger, older cat may find it uncomfortable.

Our three cats will love it
5/5

This box is a hit with all three of our cats; we paired it with another massive box and it's plenty for three! br>*Kitten is not included in the price*.

The opening in the front is far too small
3/5

The sides are high, to be sure, but the cats couldn't care less about them. They walked in through the low scooped out front opening, just far enough to get all four paws in, and then went to the bathroom. Usually, it's over a low front. Urine was strewn across the carpet. My advice is to avoid this design and instead look for something that has been tried and true on real cats.
