It was necessary for me to use a razor that wouldn't scare them and get them to run away before I even started. They don't run away as soon as they hear the tone turn on because it's not completely silent, but it's just low enough to stop them from running away. It was a little hard for them to get used to the sound the first couple of times, so I just turned the unit on and let it sit near them. So I waited for them to fall asleep and then started working. I had to spend three different sessions before I was able to accomplish more than one knot in each session. It is very effective and can reach close to the skin without putting too much stress on it. If your cats are finicky, I highly recommend this for them. Don't forget to let them experience the sound for a few sessions before you trim!.

The clippers are very nice and I am pleased with the These clippers do not appear to be silent as they have a rather quiet hum to them. The grip fits comfortably in my hand, the blades are sharp and easy to clean, the blade lengths can be adjusted, the battery lasts a long time, and the clippers are easy to handle. One complaint that I would have is that the box it came in didn't have the small bottle of lubricant it came with.

Having received it today, the only reason it didn't get 5/5 was because all the operating instructions were in Chinese or Oriental characters. It is important to have instructions written in English if you wish to sell in America! We were extremely pleased with the ability of the unit to cut the thick knotted hairs of our cat flawlessly and with very low noise levels, smooth operation! There was no alarm or fear in the cat's eyes. There is no such thing as a typical animal. Our older sheer made our cat think it was offensive and he would not let us cut him, but these are fine. In addition, it is nice to know how many minutes of power you have left since the LCD is easy to read. Ergonomics that are good. on the blade that enable you to change the length or shorten it. Even though I did not try the different attachments, I believe that they will accomplish the job appropriately. They seem to be sturdy and I don't doubt that they will work as advertised. There was a slot in the box but no lubricant blade oil, despite the fact the oil is needed. Even so, I was aware of the lubricant when I purchased the item since the product did not advertise the oil. This is the set of sheers you need if you want to cut through animal hair without pulling it or creating discomfort.

One of the things that I like about this one is that it's durable and works well. One of the things I do is give my cats haircuts every now and then. I was very pleased with how smoothly it worked with making them angry. My strongest recommendation for this product is to buy it. Since I am not sure how long it will last and determine a satisfactory result, I can only say so far that it works well. I appreciate it.
