No longer was it possible to purchase cans. It was Amazon who suggested I try the seniors pouches, so I did, but I only added some of these pouches to the meals since I could still get the 6 oz pouch. when I went to reorder the larger senior cans, I discovered that they had been discontinued as well! My first thought was, no problem, I have the Senior pouches, so I will put those in place of the cans rather than along with them. What the heck? Maybe Amazon has decided that as fewer cats are living well into their senior years, there is less need for senior canned cat food? I'm kidding, of course, but I can't imagine why they might want to discontinue it. There's nothing available for senior cats who adore their canned Heart of Heaven, or even the pouches it comes in. The dry cat food from 11+ HS senior is still on the table, since it was only meant to be supplementary because of their constipation issues. I am not willing to try another canned cat food brand I know will not be appreciated by my very picky cats. I would love it if you brought back the canned food for seniors, Amazon!.
