At first I checked the prices for cat carriers like this at Petco ($65+. bought this one online. It compares to the red bag I already have and I am happy with it. They are the same size and have the same Compared to the last pair, this one has a slightly thinner fabric and is of lesser quality, however, it won't matter so much since I use them rarely The bottom has a hard cardboard bottom and a fluffy pad on top. Obviously not as soft as the $20 pad I bought at Petco to replace a poopy pad for my Sherpa bag, but who can tell? I would guess that this bag cost as much as the fuzzy pad from Petco! It is nice that this bag has a zip pocket behind the front where I can keep vet receipts and medications. Cats weighing 12 pounds fit perfectly in my house.

Our family adopted a cat who was located on the other side of a 3-hour drive. Because of some other reviews, I was concerned that the carrier would be too small and would make his 3 hour journey more uncomfortable and stressful than it had to be, but it was perfect! Despite being quite lean and light, he has a long and slender body, and he is pretty tall, as he is a tonkinese mix. It was comfortable for him to move around in the large carrier, and there was plenty of room for him to curl up when he wanted to. I have left the carrier open next to the bed at home, and from time to time, I see him twisting around in it and drifting off to sleep- The fact that it is so comfortable must be testament to its quality. Small is the word that comes to mind when considering this carrier. I did not even have room for my medium-sized cat in the box when it arrived.
