A scream erupted from my bird after it was plugged in. Keeping her feet lifted is now becoming a habit for her. It was reported to the vet that her feet were burned. As I was trying to unplug it, the plugin was so hot that it burnt my hand too. In either case, I would be very careful using it and check it often or simply don't buy it if you don't want to risk it.
