On perches with a small diameter, mix with enzymatic cleaner to get great results
This review will start by stating that, in my experience, I have only ever owned small birds (parakeets, cockatiels, canaries, zebra finches, and At the moment, I have three zebra finches, two cockatiels, and two parakeets in cages, so I only have to clean three cages. Therefore, this review will be based on my own experience with one. I used to have one of these years ago and it was pretty amazing, but I lost it in a move a few years ago. Other ways of cleaning perches have not worked for me The items include steel wool, a variety of brushes, etc. No one of them worked as well as the other. Perches that had become too worn-out sometimes just needed to be replaced as a whole. The item hadn't crossed my mind until I was looking at Poop Off and found it on the recommended items list. This one isn't quite the same as the one I used to have (the bristles aren't quite as stiff), but I find it to be adequate for my purposes, especially since I have fewer birds now than I did then. It states on the package to wet the bird poo before scraping it in order to prevent it from making dust. This is what I use for the perches I spray Poop Off on them, let them sit for a few minutes, then wipe them off. I get both enzymatic and mechanical removal with this, and it works much better than with I realize that this is an extra step, but it is better than everything I have thought of so far. Using this diameter is a good choice for perches for small birds. On the back is a plastic material that is easy to hold and to press down. As of now, I have only used this on perches made of wood. It is recomened that you clean it occasionally while using a wet brush. After cleaning, I would leave the bristles down on a paper towel to dry As I doubt that this is a high quality stainless steel, I should make sure it stays completely dry and the bristles do not pool water. That way, they won't rust, so it will last longer before it needs to be replaced. In any case, this item has proven useful to me, personally, so I am satisfied with my.

It was an inefficient use of my money and the time of my workers
After buying this perch shaped scraper brush so it would replace ones with metal teeth, I was shocked to discover that it had such weak metal teeth that they instantly bent after just the first use simply by placing them on the perch and applying slight I don't really see the point of this. Getting it off the plastic didn't surprise me. They used to do it and we still do. After a little glue and a scrubber, the staples were repaired, but the scrubber burst into a million pieces. There is a tremendous waste of resources to make it, package it, have Amazon workers pick it up and pack it, and have the delivery people deliver it only to be left in a land full and never to.

The issue simply isn't cut and dried
remember having one of these as a kid, and it was very stiff and firm wire bristles that worked well in cleaning perches. There is no difference between the brush and this one. This one is made of thin, useless bristles that only remove large chunks of garbage and bend and clog While it is great for cleaning the huge stuff, it might not be as useful when it comes to cleaning the perches in a weekly deep clean. With a Brillo pad, mark the spot.

The device is small but useful for cleaning perches
This cleaner is not designed with a handle, so it has no problem reaching areas on perches in cages that other cleaners find difficult You apply pressure directly behind the bristles with one finger on this cleaner, which may take some getting used to. Generally, removing the grime on perches requires only a light touch, unless dried on poop is present.

I did not expect it to be this way
The perch was not worth it at any price, so I threw it away after the first attempt at cleaning it. In order to do this, I'm going to get a wire brush. It is not a product I would recommend.

The wires are far too thin and fragile for the right size
We finally got rid of the old one after years of using it, so I was so excited to find this new one. We found this to be perfect for our budgie's bars, but the wire is far too weak to support a bird. We've had our old one for several years that had stiff wires and lasted for years but these bent on the first use. It is not worth returning, so we will use it until we find one that suits our needs better.

An instrument used to scrape bird perches
An absolute must-have for any bird lover. Perches are so much fun to scrape off! You cannot buy these at pet stores because they are so expensive! There is no better deal than that offered by Amazon! That's awesome! I love it so much!.

A bird perch cleaner from JW Pet Insight
The other day, I was finally able to use it. I got rid of some debris but not all of it. Although I would prefer it had a handle of some sort, the nature of the handle forming to the contour of the perch may not work well with the product due to its design.
