Questions & Answers

Why did these pools have a capacity of less than 400 people in 2019?

In 2019, I set a budget of less than $300 for my own. Amazon, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Is it possible to change the pool's filter to a sand filter? If that's the case, what do you think everyone should do?

Yes, the sand filter is the best, and you should also switch to a salt water system while you're at it. That's exactly what I did, and I'm grateful for it. It's less difficult to maintain and is better for your skin.

Is it possible for a cat to puncture the side of the building?

I don't think a cat could rip it open because it's fairly thick. My German Shepherd, who weighs more than a hundred pounds, jumps in and out with ease.

What filter does the 8' model's 530-gallon-per-hour-per-hour-per-hour-per-hour-per-hour-per-hour-per ?

Yes, the 530-gallon-per-minute filter pump performs admirably.

Design is brilliant! The liner is of good quality and is ideal for our four-year-olds
4/5

In the review, there are a few more tricks and tips! So far, everything has gone well; we began by opening and setting up on the grass, but later decided that a more level concrete slab would be a better option. We needed a cleaner area to set the pool on, so we drained what we had filled in a few minutes and set it up on the patio quickly. After the first 5 minutes of huffing and puffing, I was able to inflate the top/rim upper support ring. From there, I smoothed out the bottom of the heavy vinyl liner and began filling; for the first 15 minutes, I gently stretched out the vinyl liner, gently smoothing it out as it filled; for the first ten minutes, I gently stretched out the vinyl liner, gently smoothing it out as it filled; for the first ten minutes, I gently stretched out the vinyl liner, gently smoothing it out as it filled; for the After 15 minutes, the water's weight will be too great to stretch the liner bottom any further. br>br>In total, it took about 30-45 minutes. It took 40 minutes to fill the pool all the way to the top rim. While filling, get those hoses in place because as the water rises to the area where the hose ports are, it will begin to drain out the hoses unless the hoses are attached to the pump with the clamps provided to the pump etc. the entire thing is fairly simple to hook up, take your time identifying the pump hose parts listed in the instructions as they are illustrated very small and a little difficult to identify, once you understand the sequence/route for the hoses it should be f br>br>For the price, I have to say, this is a really nice little pool! When someone admires great design, the pool almost stands out most because of its great design; the bottom is a brilliant color, the sides are made of a taper pattern and their circumference will curve to a good angle around the tops or rim, in my opinion, the pool can only be br>br>It doesn't come with any kind of ladder or way in or out other than pushing down the upper rim/doughnut, so it's nice to be able to squish down the rim and step over. Yes, some water spills out each time, but the inflatable rim ensures that water loss is kept to a minimum because it always returns to its correct position, stopping further water loss each time. Brilliant! If you couldn't tell, I'm a big fan of this thing! br>br>It's large enough for an adult to sit in, and at 6'3", the water Lime would fall around my neck. A 4 year old child standing in the pool with the water just below their chin or neck area is able to stand in the pool and have the water just below their chin or neck area, so it's nice that they are mostly submerged with the option of standing up at any time if they have a problem. Always keep an eye on your child and never leave them alone, even for a second, as a child can drown in a matter of seconds. As long as you're present and your child is tall enough to stand and have the water fall below their chin, they should be able to play in the pool alone while you keep an eye on them. br>br>I've updated the photo; the fittings do leak a little if the clamps aren't placed directly over the rubber o-ring. As the clamps are put in place, the ring will start to ring. Despite this, the plastic clamps are unable to provide a leak-proof seal. If you can't live with this, I'd suggest replacing the provided plastic clamps with better steel clamps. br>br>NOTE: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be If you liked this review, please give it a "thumbs up/like" so that I can keep providing you with honest/unbiased information about products I've used and that you might be interested in. A great little pool for a low price
4/5

The size of the filter pump is insufficient. Before you buy this pool, there are a few things you should be aware of. 1. br>br> You must have an even surface or 98% of the way there if you want to get there at all price price price price price price price Period. If you don't have a minimum of 8x8 of level ground to put the pool on, don't buy it. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br This pool's filter is completely ineffective. This was mentioned in reviews, but I dismissed it as naysayers. Buy the pool without the filter for a little less money, then upgrade to the larger filter for $60 or the $105 small sand filter. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. That sand filter is a great deal because it can also pump water out of the pool if you need to drain it or take it down at the end of the season for any reason. I spent $50 on a pump for this, but now I wish I had spent another $50 on a sand filter. 4. br>br> It's easier to stretch the bottom of the pool and make sure it's even and wrinkle-free if you put it on a foam base (I used 4x8 foam insulation sheets). The pool must be on a level surface, and any wrinkles must be removed. 5. br>br> The filter suck's instructions. So here's something to think about. In this pool, there are three holes. The jet exits through the highest hole, which connects to the filter's lower outlet. The other two holes are for the suction/strainer type, which plugs into the higher port on the filter and pulls water from the pull. The two short tubes connect to the t fitting, while the longer tubes connect to the jet and filter, as well as the t fitting and filter's bottom. You now have all of the information you require. br>br>4 stars because the filter is useless. I've only had the pool for 8 hours and have yet to use it, but it looks great. br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b My eight-year-old son and I have both been in it several times per week. It's still in good condition. Every 2 hours, the ring must be topped up with air. 3 days. That's not a big deal because we have a pump. As I previously stated, the filter is insufficient for this pool. It's filtering because I just replaced the filter, which was filthy but not nearly enough. I would highly recommend purchasing the larger filter, which is currently on sale for $35 on Amazon. Here's what I got when I bought this pool. br>br>Chlorine Stabilizer - br>br>Chlorine Stabilizer - br>br>Chlorine St Place two tablets in the pool and test it every few days. Try to keep two full tablets in the pool at all times. It has passed every single day of testing so far. br>br>Floater of chlorine - strips - Every two weeks, drain the water and re-top with the pump. The pump is also on the pool's bottom, so it cleans it. It's an optional purchase, but it'll allow me to drain the pool into a sewer system that leads to the street. br>br>I can't say anything bad about the pool; it's still going strong, the hose leaks are minor, and the filter is as it should be. I would recommend this pool to anyone who has a small yard, doesn't want to spend a lot of time maintaining it, has young children, or simply wants a place to relax and cool off. br>br>**** 7/5/2018**** Updatebr>The large filter is currently available for $40. The 1000 GPH filter is what you're looking at. You can also use this filter to clean the pool's bottom by attaching an Intex vacuum to it. I strongly advise you to buy that filter, keep the one that came with the pool as a backup, or purchase this pool without a filter. br>br>We've also had a few days with temperatures in the high 90s and low 100s. We've had a lot of use out of this pool over the years, and it's still going strong and doing its job.

This is my third one, and it works well in my backyard
5/5

I've had three of these types of pools in the last ten years. I usually get a few years out of each pool; I did switch to a hard plastic rim pool for one season, but it was a project to dismantle in the fall. This one is as straightforward as they come, and you'll need an 18-inch pizza pan. The pool is 20 feet in diameter and is shaped like a circle. Before filling the pool, make sure the ground is level and the pool bottom is flattened. While filling, make sure the sides are all the way out to the bottom seams, then inflate the ring and let the hose do the rest. Summer in the Northeast lasts three months, so we drain, dry, fold up, and store it in the backyard in a tarp when September arrives. I should point out that I use a regular filter but a salt water system, which eliminates the cost of adding chlorine and is well worth the investment.

In the hot sun, a happy family
4/5

In the end, this pool has satisfied me. The version we received was 18X48. Please keep in mind that when they say "the ground must be level," they really mean it. I can't say I blame them; it's just common sense. We thought we were on level ground, but there's just enough of a incline to cause a problem. Our pool is currently set up with one side filled to the brim and the other about 6 inches short, but hey, it works. I'd call it a success because we had four full-size adults with floats hopping around in it, with room for more. Next year, we'll take the time to dig into and fill the land, as well as properly set it up. In addition - br>br> If you don't live in an environment where algae grows like crazy naturally (hot and humid, perhaps? ), don't listen to the pool stores or apps; you don't need $150 worth of chemicals to keep this pool clean. It only takes a few chlorine tabs, a chlorine shock treatment, and a bottle of algae killer. This was advice from a friend who owns a legitimate in-ground pool, which they only told me after I had squandered my money.
