Do you run them for a certain amount of time? The state of Wyoming is across the border. The weather is warm during the day and cool at night. About 9 am to 5 pm is the time that ours runs. Since our pool is 18 feet round and 4 feet deep, it gets to 100 degrees in July when the heater is in the sun all day. After a cool night and a daytime high of 90, we are at an average of 90 now.
That should be the case. Your yard's exposure to the sun and other factors will determine the amount of shade you get. ), we can't swim till mid June after the pool opens because we freeze when we get in or can't get in the pool at all. I have installed one of these, which has been very helpful in raising temperatures. 83 degrees are being recorded in our swimming pool because our yard is semi-sunny.
If you can bend yourself for a few minutes, you should be able to do (Although I am almost senior), I have a great deal of nerve damage due to a spine injury. It was possible for me to install it by myself. To get the tubing in the unit, be sure you have the lube recommended. Otherwise, you won't be able to install it. Then it's no problem at all! Hope you have a good day!
The Intex above-ground pool I used it on was 10 feet in diameter and 30 inches deep, one of those with the blow-up cover The top of the ring has an up ring. If it was sunny on a warm day, it might warm up a little. About 1,000 gallons is how big my pool is. Yes, there would be a need for The flow of water through the panel can be controlled with a valve, so it can be slowed down so that maximum heat is generated.

Originally, I bought this solar panel to cover an above ground pool of 15 feet. The thing has been great so far! The pool was kept at 82 for one day and by the fourth day, it had reached more than 90 degrees! The solar cover must be installed to ensure that your heat doesn't dissipate too much at night so that it doesn't go out as quickly. Over the last two days, we have not had much sun and have had cooler temperatures in the low 70's, but our pool was still between 80 and 82 degrees. Since our pump is also less than 1hp, the heat is delivered through a good flow of liquid which still warms the coils nicely as it passes through. Nevertheless, there are a few points to be aware of the hoses are not long enough, so if the panel needs to be placed away from the pump in order to receive full sun, you will need to purchase The adapter we made at the big box home improvement store didn't fit our Intex sand filter. We had to get creative to make the adapters to fit the long were docked for that, because if you just use all the items that come with it and you can put it right next to the pump then there would be no special instructions. The reason I bring this up is that many people will be at the mercy of the sun's rays, which may require you to use Also, did I mention that the sun was out. In the case of a big pool, it would be wise to invest in more than one. A single one of these heats our 15 foot pool nicely, but I think if you have a larger pool, like an 18 foot pool, or an oval pool, it would be better to have two of them. Your pool will heat up more as the water is left in the coils for a longer period. While I already mentioned it in my opening paragraph, keeping it in mind again is worth mentioning, you need You should not just use the solar cover to help heat your pool, but rather to retain the hard-earned warmth that you earned from the sun. If you don't have a cover, you might lose up to 5 degrees of heat every night. You can avoid that issue by having a good solar cover on your panel. If you have this panel and it never seems to get warm or is not able to stay warm, that is not the panel's fault. The heat that you created in the day has been lost to the night because of your negligence. I would say that this panel works as long as you do your part to make sure it can perform the functions it is supposed to.

The program works as stated, but it will be more efficient if it is modified. There should be enough sunlight and warm temperatures. I think the solar panel will work if set up according to the directions, but from what I have seen in the past it puts considerable pressure on the pump regardless of its size. I have purchased two of the intex pools, so I probably have two of them (see image There is no pretty setup, but I do now have one pump for filtering the pool, and another for running the heated water (there is no filter built into the pump for an easier flow of water). The timers for both are set. Due to hot temperatures and constant sun exposure for a week, the pool rose 15 to 18 inches It's 20 degrees. A leaking connection in the box when connected to the pump was ultimately the cause of this pool's heat being maintained for such a long time. An Intex solar cover also helped maintain the heat in this pool for a significant amount of time. As stated on the box, they fit the size I needed but I still had trouble connecting them. Luckily, all I needed was teflon tape, so you might need some very small plumbing experience if you plan on using this with.

With a price tag of $130, I'd rather use a cheaper alternative. Because there is a good reason that, as of this writing with 163 reviews, they only hold a 3 star rating. The list price of $160 is the suggested retail price There's just more of a money grab going on. There don't seem to be any quality solar heaters available at this price point on Amazon, based on searches on the site. I feel good about the good I do - The clamps are made of metal and look fantastic. I am* *br* The pool temperature is raised, but all black solar heaters do the same. I am* *br* It is easier to flow through large tubes. Here are the bad things- The material was a little thin - Two metal clamps are all you need. In order to use your own clamps after that, you must bring your own. You will need adaptors if you do not have the larger clamps, which is your problem according to the company. I am* *br* The instructions say that you should use Bestway adaptors if you have that pool. . . As part of this kit, they are not included, so for some participants this may pose an issue. I am* *br* In the large openings are rubber adaptor boots able to fit. You might want to ask your kids to test fit for you if they are helpful. 1) My Issues - In addition to the out side, the inside side also There was a problem with the intake's threads, so the gasket was unable to seal. There was a significant leak and I lost about 3 inches of water over 24 hours of swimming in a smaller pool (1300 gallons). My leak was reduced to an acceptable level after replacing lost water and fiddling with tape and another gasket for 30 minutes. I expected higher quality at 130'ish, but it was a cheapo-type cast iron skillet Heated to the tune of a dollar at Walmart. This one leaked on both ends, as opposed to my 30 dollar one that didn't leak. There are 30-day reviews, but I will not link them Despite the fact that dollar one has its own issues, thirty bucks was basically in line with my expectations. Rather than leaving me satisfied, this product left me slightly (27 July 2017) *Note this is an update as of 27 July 2017. I am* *br* I tried several solutions to fix the leak, but it got worse again. (and it worked. ) 1) ABS glue, 2) PVC glue, 3) hot glue gun. It appears that you need a polypropylene based glue in order to hold, as the first two have failed to hold. A picture of the leaky joint that has been sealed with hot glue can be found here. In the sun, hot glue softens a bit, but is still usable if left alone for a while. This is one area where silicon is likely to be the best choice. *-*- Due to the lack of gaskets on the hose adaptors, the hoses leak a lot. As my new pump came with adaptors that contained gaskets, I used them and did not experience leaks from the hoses anymore. * * **Br/*- I broke one of the legs on day four of owning the unit as I re-installed it It is positioned in the right place. Metal is used to secure the end of the leg only by an eighth of an inch. It is usually plastic or metal that is recycled As a result, there are posts with broken leggings. It is because support tubes have reinforcing on their ends, but not with this product. * * **Br/*- I was pushed to the limit by the extra water pushing through my cheap camel In conjunction with Here's the link It is pumping water into a pool. The heat exchange inside this unit is inadequate for the amount of water my new pump pumps through it. There is nothing wrong with this product, it is just the reality that low end pumps and high-end pumps are not the same Solar heaters are used with pumps that replace volume pumps. * * **Br/*- To cover the pool, I will order a solar blanket. This product, which costs only 19 dollars, is expected to do more than most of the reviews suggest. I think it is a really poor film overall This is a quality product at a reasonable.
