Where is it and for what purpose is it used?

Does it matter where we are in the world? This is probably something Amazon suggested to me since I don't have a pool. I wonder if they are also confused about this item!

Is it just the run/pause switch that you carry?

It is normally set to RUN under normal operation.

The pause control is helpful, but how does it This doesn't seem to be a normal cycling process and I wonder if it has something to do with the pause control. ?

The Tammys Honestly, I am unsure if I will be much help, since I am not familiar with where to find the pause button. The clamp would need to look like the picture, flat in a flat position if it is the clamp on top. When the heads turn, I would remove all the parts and make sure all the parts are in place and that you follow the directions for the process. As I recall, I had this issue in the past but it was due to not aligning everything correctly. I am sorry, but I am not able to help more.

Can you tell me what this is?

This was also bought by a customer who bought an inground swimming pool with a self-cleaning system. Here is the cap that goes around the hydraulic actuator, so you can seal the system and watch the gears turn if you have no better use for your time.

As a result of leaking from the stop lever shaft through the center, I replaced this part in April 2015. The new one developed a hairline crack about half an inch away from the center within less than 5 1/2 years. It is pathetic that this is being released for a product that is advertised as "Manufactured to High Standards To Provide You With A Quality Product". Further, the internal gears inside the unit are made of a cheap plastic so that they usually wear out every three to four years. This is one of the most important pieces of plastic which is so marked up It's ridiculous to pay 90 dollars for a piece of molded plastic

What you see on this page is exactly what you see. A letter O came with mine In less than 5 minutes, a new ring can be installed. As for marking position, I suggest you match the exact position you marked with your old one, as the speed of the heads can be altered by rotating the part. There are indents in the cover so the nib/key will fit safely. Align properly to seal and match old speed of heads. I received my part sooner than I expected.
