Questions & Answers
The product is made in which country?
I like how easy it is to read and how it works well.
Is it possible to sink this thermometer instead of letting it ?
If you drill a small hole in the buoy (top) of it and let it fill with water, you could probably do that. Unless it is reversed, it will remain permanently.
Is it possible for the sensors to be in the water from that angle since it floats sideways? What impact does the sun have on ?
In other words, it is not skewed. There seems to be no impact from the sun. This is a true statement

I like it when things are accurate and inexpensive
When I compared the temperature on this thermometer with the temperature in a typical pool water bath of 75°, I found that it read Therefore, on the grounds of accuracy, I find it to be perfect. Next, I had the problem of many reviews saying it tends to float horizontally on top of the water, but found it only happens to me when I accidentally "throw" it into the water. By simply pushing it into the water and then letting go, you can see it sinks and bobs vertically in the water just fine. Therefore, if you compare the price of this to one I see in my local pool store, this one is less expensive and saves me time. Other than that, what more can I ask for?.

The second time we fail
#1 Reason it only gets one star is that it always floats on its side while it is on. It floated on its side even after I made sure no air was trapped in the holes. I would expect this to have a slightly low center of buoyancy so that it would hang or float vertically. However, the most significant complaint #2 is that within a week, the thermometer and its scale became loose from the interior and, therefore, non-functional. The one I got was bad, I guess. Perhaps you will as well, though I hope you don't. In order to keep the pool warm this summer, I am looking for a floating pool thermometer. If anyone has any good recommendations, please let me know.

Does the job, but fades out the color
There is a problem with the program, and it appears accurate, but it doesn't work as it should The red color on the temperature indicator faded from a shade of red to a pale yellow color following several weeks in our pool. There no longer is a clear, readible indication of the temperature. This issue is not present in another brand that we bought at around the same time.

The thermometer was not held in place by glue
As a result of the reviews, I ordered this product in hopes I will receive a higher quality product than I have bought from my local retailer in the past. Those two months weren't even enough. This has caused the glue to come loose and the thermometer to no longer be.

You won't be able to make it work
I replaced my thermometer less than three months ago. In addition to the problems noted by others, the glue holding the glass thermometer in place broke down, allowing the glass thermometer to come loose inside the plastic housing, rendering the thermometer useless. The other reviews were more detailed before I purchased this. I wish I'd read them more carefully.

I can get it into the vertical position, but it takes more time than I would like
It stays afloat on its side for hours when I toss it in the pool. However, I think the temperature reading will be most accurate when it is submerged. I will have to experiment to find out if that is the case. Instead of tossing it in the pool, instead of pushing it under and shaking it a bit, I push it under and shake it a bit so water can get inside, and then let it remain partially submerged.

There is a difference in size between this item and the one I expected
Looks to be well made and easy to read. This item floats on its side and not vertically in the water, which makes it too obvious and unattractive to look at when it is floating It was not provided with a set of instructions so if there was a trick to getting it to submerge properly, I could.
