Questions & Answers
found out it was scale that was causing the white flakes in our hot tub. If you're looking for a product to remove scale from your pipes, you should use one that is specifically designed for the purpose.
Pour 8 oz of conditioner into the tub, run the jets (without the filter) for an hour, and drain. You should spray down the sides of the tub while it drains.
I haven't found any "gritty film" or calcium deposit in my mouth. However, I can say that our tub is 12 years old and that it does not leak. I used it for the first time two years The directions were followed & There was quite a bit of scum around the edges, as I found. I had a feeling, "Oh Yuck!". The next time you change your water, use before every four months. This time it was less yucky.
It is the manufacturer's responsibility to provide a response to this question. In my own case, I would not take part in it. To me, cleaning, refilling, and adding would be the best course of action Make sure the chemicals are adjusted before you leave.

Despite having our 25-day grace period, we still hadn't used it The year is We had used the old spa for about 7 years, but decided it was time to have a new one installed at the request of our granddaughter. Everything went well, but the water was an awful yellow despite using crystal clear water, chlorine, and spa shocks. A brown color. In response to user reviews here, I ordered a gallon jug of Yuk it arrived about two days later. Adding 8 ounces to a full spa and circulating for an hour will work wonders. The water started looking terrible after an hour, so I drained the spa, refilled it, added a few ounces of Oh Yuk, and circulated it for an hour. The water looked terrible again, so I drained it again. I filled it up again. Despite the yellow tint of the water, it seemed just as clear as before. By substituting chlorine for Oh Yuk, I achieved the same result I was shocked at a spa incident. There hasn't been a hint of a problem in our spa since then. We were able to use our old tub for the first time in years within 24 hours of adding 16 ounces of Yuk. There is one downside. I still have essentially an entire gallon of Yuk left over, which I hope I never need to use.

A great product that cleaned out the hot tub lines easily. The dirtiest parts of my tub were cleared just by pouring the half of a large bottle around the sides of the tub, then turning on the jets for several hours. This seemed to release the grimy yucky stuff clogging The tub walls were scrubbing on a scrubbing pad. I applied a small amount of soap to the pad and wiped it around the tub. I drained the tub, rinsed it, and filled it again.

If I had paid 50 bucks, I would have expected a little My hot tub has been in my family for nearly 7 years, and I have drained and cleaned it numerous It always works well for me to use Spa Purge from Leslies Pool before draining. As a result of using this Yuk product, my spa foams on the smallest of scales after a good cleaning and refill. Never have I seen foam in my spa after it had been My next step will be to waste 400 gallons of water and have to start the whole process from scratch. The remainder of the work took 2 hours and required 400 gallons of After Spa Purge, I will give Yuk another try, and as for the rest of it, I will probably throw it in the trash because I do not think Amazon will accept it again.

I was pleased with the performance and ease of use of this product. After you remove your filters and pour the right amount of this product based on the size of your tub, run the jets for a while, and you'll see all the muck coming Fill your bathtub with water after draining and rinsing it. Here are a few tips While the water is draining, wipe down the tub shell before it dries. It is much easier to get the residue off when the water is wet, so you want to get to it before it dries and sticks to the sides.

We get a lot of use out of our hot tub. We're not kidding when it comes to this stuff. Having use of our hot tub by our children means that it's hard to keep it really clean, even when we deep clean it frequently. We gave this a shot out of desperation after the bromine, enzymes, etc did not work. The hot tub was still clean after it couldn't be cleaned by anyone else.

Having read the reviews, I decided to purchase a gallon to use in my spa for winterizing. A lot of blue-colored algae was observed when I followed the directions When the water drained away from the spa, there were thick, green deposits adhering to the walls. I am unsure if the gunk actually signified the unwanted debris from my pipes/water or if it was caused by the product itself Unless a real before-and-after chemical analysis of the water, as well as an analysis of the blue-green algae, there is no way to tell There is green gunk on the ground. Before purchasing this product, I looked for the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and could not find it, but I still purchased it. Looking back, it might have been better to use the product without the filter installed as directed (it would have been better to use an old, end-of-row filter The life filter) since now the blue-clad I am sure I have green gunk in my piping and pump now It is tough to remove this gunk since it is sticky. Despite the fact that I regret using it, I might find this product to be effective in the future.

I wished I'd taken a picture, when I first used it, chunks of gunk came out of them. I have had my hot tub for three years now, and this was the first time I used it. When it's clean, the pump won't trip the circuit on startup like it used to and it didn't before. I rate this 10 out of 10.

I'm amazed at this stuff. It had a white tissue-like substance attached to the wood of our cedar hot tub, probably some kind of mold, but no expert could identify it with certainty. The fungus appeared to be growing in the filter, too, and looked like wet toilet paper clogging everything up. There's a gallon of this magical substance I poured in there and it immediately cleared up the odor. This is awesome!.
