Questions & Answers

Is it because California isn't included in your shipping services?

As it stands, I will have to do my own research and answer my own question asked Oct 23, 2017, same one this person has asked. Amazon Seller Central seems to have changed in 2016 rather than the previous year. This is what I found from a Seller who had this problem and fixed it Please see this post to see if Amazon Prime and any sellers of this product (which seem to be restricted from California) will see it and FIX the problem so we can buy the product online. Please accept my warmest congratulations, I was able to solve this ridiculous problem on my end, hopefully, it would help you too. Although vendor and seller support were not able to figure out why it was happening, it turned out it was me. I love it. The Web Developers have implemented a new setting into the shipping policy section of vendor central that defaults to "NO." How did that happen you ask? Well, it seems that the Developers added a new setting to the shipping policy section. Please let me know if this ASIN is legal in California. This has been happening to some sellers who are trying to sell either via Amazon Prime as a distributor or as a seller on Amazon seller without warning due to this setting being "Snuck" in there without their knowledge. Please contact any Vendor (distributor) of your product or WHOEVER has an Amazon vendor account to sell to AMAZON PRIME's distributor, and request they change the settings for your website to reflect the following "Is this ASIN legal to sell in California"- The answer is "YES" *br>"Does this item require an EXECUTIVE ORDER in California? " NO *br> *br>Once the settings have been changed, it could take up to 2 weeks for the new settings to take effect. Having problems with their delivery time is frustrating. You can check by going to your item page on Amazon, expanding the product and item description, and look on the far right under "Domestic Shipping" which is located under the product description. The item should be listed no longer as "This item is available to ship from the United States" following the changes. To select countries outside the U.S. and California, however, the policy does not apply. I'd like to emphasize that this happened for a reason It cannot be sold on AMAZON PRIME by any other seller on the Amazon site if the same product is ALSO being sold on Amazon Prime by the manufacturer/vendor you use. Regardless of what settings you have assigned to your seller profile, those Vendor Central Settings will take precedence. Even if the seller of the product has the YES option set to their seller account, if Amazon Prime (the company that sells bulk to Amazon as their distributor) tells Amazon Prime that it is not legal, it will override ANY seller of that product. TEXT OF THE You must confirm that your system settings are correct and ask whichever vendor or supplier you are using if they are offering this product through Amazon Prime as an affiliate. Make sure they change those 2 settings. Your product will be able to be sold in California if you follow these steps. Only California's BS legal system asks if it is legal to sell it there and if so, it is removed from the listing. Is that true? How did I know that? I am a seller and a vendor directly to Amazon Prime as their sole source distributor, which means I could see my seller account was set to YES for California, but Amazons web developers snuck in this new setting that set my vendor account to NO for I manually modified my Seller account settings to YES, but that do not trump my ESI settings. We need you, Amazon Fulfillment and Sellers of this product, to make this adjustment in your settings so that we will be able to purchase this California made product from Amazon and have it delivered to Thanks a lot!

The size of the filter is 24 square feet. What is the amount of material you will need?

The sand filter you have in mind has a 24" diameter You'll need one Fiber Clear cup, which comes in the The square footage of a 24 square foot room is 26 square feet. The foot is. The DE filter should be cleaned thoroughly before using Fiber Clear cups. Make sure the old DE is removed before using Fiber Clear cups. Refer to the following. Call Mark at 612 to find out more.

Could someone tell me what chemicals Fiber clear can be used with and what it cannot be used with. It's been a while since I've tried reaching out to the company, but haven't been successful?

It is my understanding that Fiber Clear or any other filter media can be used with any chemical. No problems have been noted in our ability to use chlorine, algaecides (of varying compositions depending on the season and problem), clarifiers, pH balancers, and other products.

Using a cartridge filter or DE filter, you can keep the pool clean
5/5

I have used it for several years now, first as a cartridge additive, then as a replacement for DE in a cartridge filter, and am now using it to clean all of the filters I own. It was found that a cup in a cartridge filter improved its performance. The water is now much more clear, and I barely need to run the filter. I no longer need clarifier or metal remover to clear the water. This leaves the water crystal clear in my DE filter, and it only needs to run a few hours a day to do so. Among the downsides are the fact that a cartridge filter requires more frequent cleaning, and while you need to clean a DE filter more often because some of the media will blow through the filter the first few hours following It could pose a problem if you have a really powerful filter pump. Even though you have to vacuum your pool three times the next day after recharging, the pool will be As well as saving money, I have also found that I use a whole lot fewer chemicals when I use There is no longer a need for clarifier, metal remover, or algaecide, and the pool requires about half as much chlorine. It is recommended that you do not mix DE with Fiber Clear, as the mixture will clog the filter almost immediately. Additionally, clean the filter thoroughly before switching to it.

In comparison with DE, filter charging
5/5

It required thirteen 20-amp continuous power sources for my Pentair FNS 48 The filter needs to be charged with 8 oz of DE. My filter has charged once with this media and it took nine, but it seems like 16 sounds more reasonable They come in cups of 64 oz (not sure how large they are). The amount of filters charged by each bag is unknown to me because I have not used a full bag yet. I estimate two full media charges per two bags, so this box set of two bags represents approximately four charges for the 48 sqft filter. At the time when I charged the pool (4 days ago), it had some organic debris (oak pollen and catkins) on it, and this media is getting the job done. It's still early in the game so I haven't seen any pressure build-up so far My experience with DE in a similar setting did not speed up the process at all. Here are the results.

The clogs too easily, but the device works well
4/5

I find this to be effective. In AZ, where we get dust and sand blown into the pool, I must contend with this constant situation. My DE filter is clogged far too quickly with this Fiber, so I have to backwash my filter every month. When I used DE, I could usually go for two months between backwashes in the summer, and never backwash during The pool contaminants there are large, such as leaves, and the area you live in is often subject to high temperatures, check your pool filters Since the filter basket catches most of it, I think this would be an excellent product. However, if you live in a dusty or sandy environment, where all that particulate stays on your filter membranes, you'll find yourself spending too much time and money on this product.

Those who use DE should consider this replacement
4/5

It works well. It's been about a year since I switched from DE to Cellulose Fiber. Both work very well, and the prices have come down so much that using either one is not much of a difference. The only problem is that, after backwashing, I do not know how much to add to the filter, as I have to take the filter apart to figure it out. As a result, from opening to closing I did about three backwashes and there was a considerable amount of residual material In such cases, I just use the pressure to gauge what's going on. We will use 11 or 12 cups of water instead of 15 cups, then check the pressure and add more until the grids are at their starting pressure again. Having experienced it in practice, I find the claim that fewer backwashes are needed to be true. It also seems that the water clears more quickly than when using.

The user interface is difficult to understand and There may be many reasons why this is a great product, and I may just be a total idiot for not installing it myself before I spent the money to get a pool company to install it for me
3/5

As far as the first charge went, it seemed to work, but when I had to treat my pool for phosphates, it created a Fiber Clear cakes up around your fingers, especially at the top, unless you take your DE filter apart. Fiber Clear cannot be changed without taking the filter apart. If you repeatedly empty and backwash the filter, it will not wash out. My favorite thing about it is the bio I like the friendliness, but it is too hard to use for me.

It is better than the other brands I have used
5/5

I previously used Zeofiber. The grain is finer, you can use more of it, and the end result is superior. The backwash process is now significantly faster, the pressure rise has been reduced, and filters are outstanding. Compared to the alternatives and DE, all options are about the same in terms of backwashing ease. If you want to get residual media out, you'll need to break down the filter every six months or every three backwashes. Overall, this is the best cellulose product I have tried so far and it will be used in the future.

I like it because it's easy and That is how it In my 2ft I used this
5/5

Sand filter with a wide surface area. The better your pool looks, the faster it will be fixed. Use the provided pint cup (provided) and watch your pool improve within 6 hours. One of the downsides of sand filters is that they are easy to maintain, but don't filter water as well as DE units. Using Fiber Clear is the best way to enhance This book is highly recommended.

I have now been here for one year
5/5

Third time I've ordered from you. It has just been a year since I graduated. In fact, I'm ordering it again. I noticed that the plug hooks up faster at first, but it settles down after that. My body constantly recharges itself so that after six weeks I need to do it again I backflush. In addition to the environment benefit, I use less DE than I used to. In order to use the filter for the first time, I disassembled and thoroughly cleaned it. The key is to understand that. This is the first time I will be doing the same thing this November, and I will keep you informed on the findings compared to the DE 8 I used to clean.
