There's no fancy stuff involved, just de used to filter a pool. The configuration I have doesn't seem to kill the bugs in that way. When I was a kid, I used de to kill bugs. I bought it somewhere else though.

The powder used in your DE water filter for swimming pools is widely used in DE water filters, but the filter you're referring to is not familiar to me. It is the only DE filter media I have ever seen.

Despite the fact that it is an excellent product, I only received one 50lb bag instead of the advertised two 25lb bags. 25 pounds is the maximum weight I can store in my container. It's so sad.

I ordered two 25lb bags but received one big 50lb bag, even though the listing said two 25lb bags would be shipped. For me, it's not a big deal, but for some people it might be a deal-breaker. This DE was wonderful it has a nice powdery feel and is very effective.
