This light is both bright and adjustable, and the solar panel does a great job of providing power. This gathering tent is smaller than expected (see pictures), but it would be fine for a small gathering or campout. This kind of weight isn't too heavy, but enough weight for me. As we sit out at night during the summer, we intend to use this for quite some time. Being able to use a smaller bug zapper with a bright light is nice, as opposed to having to plug in a large bug zapper connected by a long extension cord. The BK's Due to a few negative reviews, I hesitated to purchase this solar mosquito zapper lantern at first. As part of Amazon Prime Day, I purchased the book and tried it out. During my battery test, I determined the charge level. In solar, it took 12 hours for the battery to fully charge, but in USB it takes five hours The lamp is used in my backyard at night to kill mosquitoes as an energy saver without turning on the lighting. In order to attract flying bugs, LED lights were used. The battery lasted for the whole evening. I checked in the lantern and found about 20 mosquitoes and moths. The lantern was rated a 4 stars due to its zapping power. The cleaning process was okay. An included brush helped keep the brush clean. Even though it had been used a couple of times, it was already somewhat damaged. This is just a minor quibble, but it might be better to separate out the flashing light from the others, or even to switch the order so that the flashing doesn't appear last. The solar panel at the top of the light seems to do its job well, and the light itself lasts for a long time with nighttime usage and charges quickly when connected by USB. I have to say that the UV bug light works wonders we caught a few larger bugs and mosquitoes, as well as a variety of smaller bugs. It was hard to tell if it was working, so I touched a blade of grass to the grid and it sparked loudly and powerfully. For the price, this is an excellent zapper. The blue light, which shines under dark conditions, is also very attractive. A blacklight kind of thing. Basically, we bought it to zap bugs, and it does an excellent job at doing so. But the normal lights are bright and useful as well. The purchase of this product made me apprehensive before I got it, but now I'm glad I did.

It is lightweight and easy to carry. The flashing light has a slightly less bright mode and also a slightly less bright mode. My finger did not feel either humming or heat when I touched the lamp's zapper portion. The unit wouldn't be right next to me, but it would need to be relatively close to me in order to be effective against the bugs. I haven't had much of an opportunity to use it outside for a while.

A bug zapper is a nice thing to have around the yard or inside the house when mosquitoes and small flying insects are present. Once the lantern's bug light is turned on, the bugs become attracted to the light and get electrocuted. It's easy to clean up the dead insects and mosquitoes, just use the provided brush. The material is ideal for use outdoors.

This is a nice lightweight lantern. I ordered it for camping but haven't yet had the chance to test it in the forest It was a bit surprise to find several mosquitoes in our backyard, since I did not expect to find any bugs in it. Solar energy is used to charge, which is a super nice and easy way to charge. During the day, we just leave it in the backyard, and in the evening, we use it there.
