Questions & Answers

Are there any baits included in the package?

There is no way you can stock up on bait for a lifetime unless you are planning on living for merely Taking a drug after it has been opened will not prolong its shelf life. Make sure you only buy amounts as needed and to determine how old the product is before you purchase You will find that in Arizona, packrats will take your bait (if you are foolish enough to throw it away) and put it in middens (combined with potentially toxic cholla bits), where they will remain for years until future generations can safely eat it. Be wary of your enemy, and don't underestimate him

The trap is designed for cats, but will cats be able to get into it?

There are no signs to indicate that Cats can get inside the Station, but the poison is likely to be located inside and outside of it. You must ensure that your pets can not access the station or poison. We have dogs, cats, birds, and other creatures to care for.

The bait has been loaded into the trap, but I'm not sure how the rat is supposed to get to it. What are the mechanisms that allow the rat to reach ?

When the rats remove a cartridge, they bite into it for a few seconds before returning it. Rats prefer the clips because the material is friendly to them. In addition to going in the hole on the side, they have an option to go under.

3/5

You should be aware that the packaging and sales of your product do not make it child or pet resistant, and this is VERY dangerous for children and pets alike. A newly discovered rat problem has ultimately lead me to purchase these four bromethalin rat poison kits. I plan to use them in my backyard to get rid of the rats. In the Amazon cardboard box I left them once I had received them since I wasn't quite ready to use them yet. As the result of further evaluation and thought, I decided not to purchase the product. A friend of mine had shared a story with me about its use in a different context. When a critter bearing poison from her neighbor's yard dropped it near her yard, her dog was poisoned. Although she didn't use poison, her neighbor's dog had contaminated her dog with it. This fact had not occurred to me, but was put to my mind when I realized it might happen to me or one of my neighbors' animals, so I decided I would return the product. There was a box on my kitchen table, where my 110-pound cat usually sleeps. The bullmastiff has never had an accident in seven years. The full course holiday meals were taken from, or things were attempted to get up on. As there is severe hip arthritis in her hip joint, standing on her hind legs can be quite challenging for her. While I was at work, she pulled the box off of my desk and chewed through the Amazon corrugated cardboard box and went on to chew through a product box (flimsy cardboard) and ate all 15 blocks of rat poison that were enclosed in ARE YOU SURE? How about cellophane? It took my dog 48 hours to recover from her illness. Her condition required being in the ER or ICU for continuous high-rate IV fluids and activated charcoal every 8 hours to prevent death from the neurotoxin. My dog's life was saved by rat poison I bought for $50, but I had to spend $3500 to get it. It is a privilege for me to be able to provide all that she needs for me, and my dog in this situation is absolutely worth every penny I invested in Many people may have had to euthanize their animals because of financial limitations and God forbid if it had been a child.
First off, as a doctor of pharmacy, you have to ask how a company can responsibly sell a poison with no remedy. In the event that my dog ingested the anticoagulant-based poison, vitamin K could have been given to prevent excessive bleeding. Her regular veterinarian could have provided supervision and I would have saved myself a lot of heartache and money by doing this myself at home. I do not understand, as a pharmacist, and also as a parent of both animals and children, how you can sell a poison (without an antidote) without placing it inside any sort of safety container. This product isn't as safe as over the counter medications which are packed in childproof containers.

Worked like a charm! Additionally, there are some rats to be found
5/5

The rats that we had outside are now gone, but we are living in a rat-free house There's no charge! With this Tomcat bait box, along with the items below, we were able to catch several cats! It's just like they said! Here are a few things I learned from our war with rats "
rat intel
Activist in your neighborhood You may need to contact the neighbors as the problem appears unlikely to be limited to your own It was usually assumed that the rats were feeding (or are still feeding) from the dogs' droppings of a neighbor who fails to clean up after the dog and living at the home of another neighbor who is not leaving their home interiors and has let his and her yard go to waste. . . We have used our yard as a traffic route or playground between these two locations in our neighborhood. The problem is a city-wide problem, as the nextdoor system is showing us. . . So, neighborhood involvement is a must, as you may eliminate them from living, playing, or feeding on the property, but you will still have them locally and they are likely to If you do not know your neighbors and do not want to knock on their doors, go to your nearest store instead if you are concerned about unwanted neighbors, then sign up for nextdoordotcom in your city and post something like "Unwanted Neighbors " What a rat! It was through this process that we learned that it was a pervasive, city-wide problem Our community has a wide problem, and this site is serving both to provide information and communicate with our neighbors. . . though we no longer necessarily "need" our neighbors in this era, you do need your neighbors as allies! *emphasis added
Here's the approach from the front In addition to bait boxes, put Victor traps in the traps to use for further artillery. There are no better traps for eliminating rats than the Victor catch, as they are the most efficient and cost-effective option. You can easily set them up and use them The hands should be held with great care. They are effective! You need to know the kind of bait you're using! As far as the bait for the bait boxes that we are using bromethalin is an ingredient that allegedly makes rats snap. Bromethalin is in the bait chunks that we are using. Peanut butter was selected initially in place of trap bait. It did not work on the rats, but other unwanted rodents were affected as a result. When we switched to raw bacon, the rats didn't resist, and snapped! While the other rodents ignored it, the rats were extremely interested in it! As we win the war against the squatters, the rat population is increasing! Thus, if you intend to use peanut butter outdoors, you should not use it unless you also want to risk eradicating chipmunks and squirrels (we don't). If you'd rather try raw bacon, it's worth a shot. Here is a link to another outdoor rat bait box twin pack, the rat bait we have been using, and a good value 12-pack of rat bait. Putting out a second front with Victor traps A •  .

The cameras that reliably recorded rat visits every night are no longer showing rats - over a week has passed since there have been no more
3/5

It didn't work for the one and only rat I had. He ate an enormous amount of useless bait and the bait had no effect at all on A bait station does not kill Norway rats with the poison that comes with it. Video cameras are what I do for a living and I recently witnessed a rat infestation tightly monitored. It has happened to me that Victor spring traps have let rats escape -- Two videos we have of them pushing the trap off over their heads give me a clear idea of what they are doing. Thus, I decided to take a risk on the environment and poison them before they could do any more damage. The four bait stations were put out and I watched the rats consume block after block of the bait as I filled them with fresh Considering the large number of rats, you might conclude there will be a void when one dies, but I had a feeling there would only be one rat. At 9 PM, I set out a few Kat Sense traps after he chewed another expensive item. Nineteen minutes after the trap was set, the rat was caught. It was dead by 08 and no longer there by 05. Despite the fact that all of the cameras reliably captured rat visits every night, there have been no more rats for over a week now It didn't work for the one and only rat I had. He ate an enormous amount of useless bait and the bait had no effect at all on The money was a total waste.
