Questions & Answers

What size retaining wall bricks did you use if you built a fire pit? Please accept my sincere thanks. ?

The paver stones are approximately 6" x 10" in size, but they are tapered.

Could I combine two rings to make a larger ring if I purchased two?

It will be difficult to make it wider (72" instead of 36"), as it comes in four quarter-arc segments that must be screwed together. You might be able to use the ribbing to hold one above the other (put one together, put the other one together around the other, bottom rib of one fitted into top rib of the other) if you want to make it taller. It could possibly work.

What is the serial number, and where can I find it?

On the fire ring, there isn't a serial number.

Is it safe to use this to burn papers that I'd normally shred?

This is appropriate for that use. Because burning papers can cause ashes to fly a long distance, it's best to do so in a safe location away from anything flammable.

Extremely Disappointed (Product Is Dangerous)
3/5

I was very pleased with this fire ring when I first put it together. It was appealing to the eye and simple to assemble. The only drawback I discovered was that the overlapping panels had sharp corners that did not fit together flush when assembled. br>br>And now for the bad news. I was excited to light my first fire after putting together the fire ring, but as soon as it was lit, the galvination began to smoke and burn away. So now my fire ring looks terrible, as you can see in the pictures, and that's after only one fire. br>br>But to make matters worse, I did some research and discovered that galvination burns off when heated. The vapors and residue that are released are extremely toxic and hazardous. I'm glad I was alone, there was a nice breeze, and no one got poisoned. But, after learning all of this, I'm surprised they're allowed to sell this product.

This ring is ideal for creating the ideal fire pit
5/5

I needed a new fire pit for our campsite, and I had been using an old washer tub or a truck ring, but they were both ugly, and I didn't want to spend a fortune on a new ring that would only rust or burn off the paint, so I decided to build my own. This ring, which is made of galvanized steel to prevent rusting and comes in three sections that you bolt together, was purchased to be used as an insert. It literally takes 5 minutes to put together. It's nice and big, and it can hold a lot of wood, so the heat can get up there. We've already put it to use twice. br>br>Prosbr>Easy to put togetherbr>Shouldn't rustbr>Large SIzebr>br>Consbr>nonebr>br>To copy my file pit This fire ringbr>Ingredientsbr>This fire ringbr>6 fire bricksbr>87 10 inch paving stonesbr>br>Instructionsbr>1. 2. The air passes over the pavers and up through the ring's bottom.
3. To make 3 "feet," stack 2 fire bricks together. br> On the "feet," the center ring is 5. Measure about 4 inches from the ring. 5 inches.
6. Begin by stacking your pavers in a circle off to the side. For stability, each level should be centered. br>7. Take pleasure in your new fire pit.

Also, what a lovely planter! A bottomless planter was required to cover a tree stump

This is a great fire ring
4/5

It's exactly what it says it is, and it gets the job done. If you're going to surround it with block or stone, as shown, it's a good idea, but it's fine if you don't. It's about 12 inches tall, which should be enough for three courses of stone depending on what you get.

This is a fantastic item. I was hesitant at first because it appeared to be less expensive than other products I had researched, but it has turned out to be ideal: the diameter is large enough to provide a spacious fire pit without being excessively large. It's held up well to the elements after a month, and once you add bricks or pavers around it, it's quite lovely to look at. 10/10.

Awesome! We're in love with our new fire pit in the backyard! We used this galvanized ring and surrounded it with pavers, and it's perfect! Exactly what we wanted at a reasonable price

The ring is perfect
5/5

We used it as a base, but first we laid down fire bricks, which we also purchased from Amazon. Then there was the fire ring, which we pieced together with mortar from stones we found in our own yard; the end result is cool; we've used it a few times and it's been fantastic. It comes in three pieces and is simple to put together.

This thing is a force to be reckoned with
5/5

My husband bought it for our outdoor firepit, but he didn't realize how powerful it was. If it didn't fit perfectly in our firepit, he thought he could bend it slightly, but it doesn't bend AT ALL. It has a lot of power! So far, the three pieces have been placed separately inside our firepit and are working perfectly. There is no discoloration yet, and it appears to be brand new. I didn't do enough research to see if I could find something similar, so we bought it from here for the convenience of having it delivered quickly to our home. This is the one to get if you want something solid.
