In just FYI, I wish to point out that the description mentions the length of a 10" dowl. However, the first 1" shows the device between the flag and the flagpole. When the flag is slid into a 2-inch base and pushed flush with the bottom of the dowl, the distance from the base to the bottom of the flag is approximately the same as its height, which means the flag appears to have a 4-inch height on the base. I had intended to use it for an arrangement in which it would make a good feature it will not fit in a 3" base/dowl. As long as you are going to wave at them and hold them, they are fine.
The product copy clearly states that these flags have longer sticks than they actually do, although I thought the size was much larger. Sorry.
