Perky-Pet 245L Ant Guard for Hummingbird Feeders

I wait a little while before posting a review if an issue seems to be brewing since some issues don't show up right away. As with all other items, this one did not disappoint. The Perky-Pack came in the mail to me In order to prevent ants and other crawly insects from becoming trapped in my hummingbird feeder, I applied Pet Ant Guard a couple of months ago. So far there has been no complaint from me - In terms of the product's purpose, it is perfect. It does not hold up very well, unfortunately. A thick trail of ants rambled down the "S" hook where I hung the feeder from the feeder I used to be infested with ants. In addition to cleaning the feeder and rehanging it, I hung this feeder at the bottom of the "S" hook. There was no time to wait even one hour before they jumped I've put up the PERKY, but I didn't know what to say No ant managed to get past the Pet Ant Guard and into the feeder as the guard was watched closely. Sorry, but there was no success with this. As soon as I put it up on Sunday afternoon, ants began to fill up with it by Tuesday afternoon. Sorry to hear you were.

We've also tried vaseline on the hook but it hasn't worked. A perky-looking girl It was a simple choice, but I was surprised at how well it works.

I was skeptical and prepared to be disappointed, but it worked so well that I forgot about my pet. This morning I found the feeder crawling with crawling ants that had already made their way to the nectar from one I hung a few days ago. I used this last year and it worked pretty well for the whole season, but with this new one, the ants were all over it within a week! A very disappointing experience! A change has been made to the formula, which is not valid anymore. In order to succeed, the original formula must be applied. A couple of weeks ago, I was very pleased with it, but it's now useless.

It did not work for me at all. As soon as I received it, I read the fine print on the box and saw that it was not effective against carpenter ants, which have been getting into my feeder (it was not effective against four other types of ants, too). Furthermore, I found that when I pulled the ant guard out of the box, it was extended open, which I would think would be drying out the insecticide that was inside. Anyway, it proved ineffective when I tried it on.
