Stihl responded to my letter with the following: "The "C" in "Comfort" refers to a feature. Reduce vibration is the feature in this case. This is the second time I've bought this item and I'm happy with it. My most recent purchase was made in April of this year, but I didn't need it until July 3rd of that year. The master link (?) was manufactured with a flaw, as shown in the photo. ) has moved into an unusable position in the chain. I can't find a warranty statement on the Amazon website. When I choose "Click Here For Warranty," I am taken back to the product page. I am a long-time Stihl product user (chainsaws, trimmers, etc. ) and am very disappointed with this item and the inability to obtain warranty.
I used to go through $13 Oregon chains like crazy, and I never tried to sharpen them because, if they were going to get dull anyway, why waste time?br>br>Then I felt bad about it because I was wasting so much money. As a result, I decided to upgrade to a Stihl – I have a Stihl chainsaw that I enjoy using, and I wanted to see if it could last longer. br>br>It did, so I purchased the Stihl chain sharpener as well. It's so simple to use that sharpening your chain is as simple as refueling your car. Regardless, I'm still using the same chain, despite the fact that it's been several months. I'm sure I'll get tired of it sooner or later. However, when compared to the $13 chains, it is a significant savings.
If I had installed this chain, the risk of a malfunction occurring just as it was getting started could have been harmful to my health. The chainsaw could have buckled or kicked back due to biting into the wood with the chainsaw. Amazon was very accommodating in returning it and reimbursing the purchase price.
The item was as described, and the specifications on the Amazon website allowed me to double-check that I was ordering the correct item before placing my order. Quick delivery, the correct part (OEM), and a reasonable price - Is there anything else we could possibly ask for?.
After that, I sharpen the one I took out and it's ready to go back in. I needed a new chain, and I knew this one would be perfect. It was razor-sharp and exactly what I needed. There's not much more to say about a chainsaw chain than that!.
A tooth broke while cutting a dry pine right out of the box. There is no return policy on Amazon, so if you buy it and it breaks, you're out of luck.
It was packaged in a Stihl box. My stihl ms 180c 16inch bar is compatible with it. As soon as I received the first, I went out and bought a second.
While other brands are fine, STIHL makes the best chains in terms of use between sharpenings, cutting efficiency, and lifespan. I received the order 2 weeks late, but I've used STIHL chains before and they're my choice.
