Designed to replace the original chain on Harbor Freight saws, this chain is identical to the original. Despite the fact that Harbor Freight does not carry this chain replacement, I am glad to be able to purchase it.
It came in a hurry, fit perfectly, and so far it has performed well. Ensure that the chain oil stays full at all times, or else your chain may be damaged quickly. Harbor Freight does not carry replacement chains for the saws they sell, but this one works perfectly.
For some reason, we had a hard time finding the right chain for this chainsaw, so we were a little concerned I might not work. The suit fits well and is still in good condition. We should have bought two! My husband said we should have bought two!.
It wasn't cutting very well anymore, so I was almost going to throw out the Smith's saw and buy a new one, but I'm glad I didn't! It took me no longer than 5 minutes to replace the chain on my saw, and now it works like new. This saw should not be oiled with bar or chain oil, use 5w30 instead.
I recently had to deal with a damaged dual blade for my harbor freight pole saw, so I chose to get a new one instead. As compared to the factory chain, this chain is easier to install and adjust. Furthermore, it has more cutting teeth. The blade cuts like butter and feels like it's back to its old self.

A glove like fit for a king. It's razor sharp as well. Adding a pole saw to a cheap one is a great choice.
