How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

An oil bottle for saw bars and chains of any size is available. Designed for all chainsaws, this lubricant is of premium quality. Cold and hot weather cutting lubricant of the highest quality
Increased life span Oil lubricates all cutting components of your chainsaw and reduces rust, wear and tear, to prolong the working life of the machine.
A reduction in friction between bar and chain makes anticorrosion more effective. This mechanism contributes to preventing saw chain failure due to damage to the chain chassis. Sap accumulation is prevented by its resistance to build-up
Despite the speed of cutting, the film remains tenacious and resists 'flinging' even under high-speed conditions, preventing chainsaw wiping effects.
One quart bottle (946ml) of Premium Bar and Chain Oil is included. The gas and electric chainsaws, hedge trimmers, pole saws, and more can be used for this purpose. The pouring process is simple

Questions & Answers

Are you sure that this is an SAE number. A weight of 30 ounces of ?

Two grades of motor oil are #w## and e##. In the example above, the "w" stands for the winter weight, and the "g5" stands for the normal weight. When it is SAE 30 it always is 30, even in winter. It is used with almost all It can very well be SAE 30, if the manufacturer has not specified.

The chain oil in this product is vegetable based? Would you recommend a high quality vegetable based chain oil or sae 30 weight for my Black & Decker chain saw?

As long as SAE 30 is also recommended, vegetable oil does not have to be used exclusively. *b) it's a chain saw -- I would recommend using some chainsaw bar oil*b) since it's a black and decker, which doesn't need the most robust oil and the rest of it is going to fail long before the bar oil does.

When cutting down a tree, how should you do it?

Your car(s) should be parked under the tree. Then put a blindfold over your eyes, and then drive away. If you are going to use the tree in this way, be extra careful, make sure all squirrels are out of the tree first. A tree cutting must be done safely to prevent injury to animals.

Could this be the oil used in the cordlesslcs1020 chainsaw 20v produced by Black and Decker?

This oil works well with my LCS1240 40v chainsaw and I got it because most people bought it with their saws. This is the owner's manual for my LCS1240, which is also the manual for my This document says key to proper lubrication is to use high-quality bar and chain oil. As such, I would say that it is fine. Chainsaws do not come with oil in them.

The container contained less than 1 pint and the viscosity of this oil was lacking compared to other bar oils
3/5

Alert there is a scam going on. Bottle had a little over a pint of oil in it and the viscosity seemed of an issue (too runny). Putting down the "quart bottle" felt light when I lifted it up from the box. It should have felt heavier, as I've handled enough quart bottles of oil to know what it should feel like. Shaking the bottle was the first thing I did. A full quart of oil didn't feel like it was filled in the bottle, the oil seemed to be sloshing around too much, but there was no evidence of a leak in the bottle. So maybe the oil is a little lighter than I thought (weight-wise) or less dense than I thought. I didn't feel right about it, so instead of putting it on the shelf until next time I needed it, I opened the container and took a close look. As much as I hate to use a kitchen table item to measure volume, I had to since it's Pyrex and easily cleans up. Hell yes, there is something wrong with the bottle after I emptied it. As a matter of fact, the weight was less than a pint / 16 The second issue is that I do not trust the color or viscosity of the bar oil. According to all other bar oils I've used, which have been darker and denser/thicker, the one I am comparing it to appears to be lighter. Once again, there were no leaks in the box or in the packaging. As for the "sealing cap" (attaching 'ring'), it was 100% intact, so either someone is peddling or selling half-good products. There may be light weight, high volume "pretend bar oil" that is purchased from a manufacturing line reject or someone, somehow, is reselling manufacturing line rejects. Amazon has not investigated the seller or sources, so do not buy this item.

Not only is it safer than using motor oil, but it is excellent for repairing bike chains and old fans as well
5/5

When I was a kid, we would just pour motor oil on our chains. I used to think that as the wood cut, a lot of smoke came from the wood when it was cut, and that was quite normal, but that relatively little oil we went through somewhat worked. This was one of the first tools I bought after I switched to an electric chainsaw (yes, even this country guy admits I'm not going back to gas powered equipment - it's just as easy to carry a battery and cord as it is to carry a mixed fuel generator). It's true that this stuff actually works My current chainsaw can self-oil, so I don't have to worry about gallons of oil spilling everywhere. I don't spit out any oil. Just enough to see it on the chain, but not enough to eject any. The fluid does not just run and leak out when the pump is not running. Although there is a lot of smoke even on longer, harder cuts, the stain left is the same. I will admit that it is harder to clean up than motor oil, but both leave the same stain. There is considerably more thickness and almost a bit of stickiness here, more like a thin syrup or sap than oil. It is also more resistant to low I just ordered my second bottle now that my first is empty. As an added bonus, this stuff is great for repairing fans. Most people don't trouble to clean out their fans when they get dirty. However, we country folk take them apart, clean them out, replace the brushes if it is a brushless motor, oil everything, clean the blades properly, clean the guard, and then reassemble them. A metal fan I thought was going to need a new motor has now stopped squeaking and is in perfect balance. Now that I've owned it for several months, it is not as loud and runs as smoothly as when I first bought it. This is a far better product There is something about that stuff that is good, but it more acts as a cleaner than a lubricant, plus, it drips all over.

Has its uses, but there are others that are As far as common brands go, I figured bars &amp cheese was a good pick There are two kinds of chain oil bar and chain oil As a result, I bought whichever chain oil was cheapest on the day I needed it
3/5

When this happened last time, it was a Poulan brand. This time, it was an Oregon brand. As the Poulan is thinner, there is a much greater likelihood that I would run through this stuff so We were also surprised that it did not hold up very well to cutting since it is The product did the job, but it didn't make me feel good, and I felt like I could use motor oil at a fraction of the price. After I finished the quart of Oregon, I bought a different brand of thicker, longer lasting oil. The bar is open and it's free It is not the same as chain oils!.

Is an employee of My new Worx 18" chainsaw is working well with this chain My chainsaw came with a very light oil to begin with (and it's clear), so I wanted to be sure this would not void my warranty
4/5

I asked the Worx help desk about the oil and they said it would be fine. I would have liked it to be a bit less expensive, but still better than buying.

5/5

It has worked so far. I'm not an expert on viscosity, but so far it's worked. I had no problems with the product. There is nothing negative to say about this bar chain oil, since I will use it on my harbor freight electric chainsaw and electric long I hope this won't cause any issues after filling it up and I also hope it will extend the life of the.

Chainsaws are a good match for this
5/5

In my chainsaw order, it was recommended that I use Oregon chainsaw oil. In my research, I found that the price of 1qt of oil was fairly close, but this one was a few cents cheaper. In the chainsaws automatic oiling reservoir, the oil pours out fine, and seems to distribute well.
