Power washers are typically used for just a few hours at a time. I used this power washer from May 2017 to January 2018. The seller stated that there was a warranty on this machine, so when it stopped working I brought it to an authorized shop for repair. I was told that the cost of the repair would be over $350. This power washer doesn't come with a warranty since even if the company doesn't support the product, I would not suggest purchasing it.

If you purchase this pressure washer, you will find that it has no throttle control, so it will always be operating at wide open throttle! You must shut the motor off in order for the fuel to load up. As you try to restart it, it backfires and you lose the pull cord and try to start it again, ripping the pull cord out of your hand and hitting you in the chest! It seems to have a throttle control lever from the pictures and what I've read online. A false advertisement has been placed here. On top of that, it makes you seem very unprofessional at work! There is no way I would recommend this product! Neither Simpson white shipping box nor the Simpson black shipping box were used. Brown cardboard box was used for the packaging. A Simpson 4200 PSI aluminum frame with a CAT pump and red12 is shown in the picture. Powered by the mighty Honda engine, this pressure washer delivers 5 horsepower! If you are thinking of purchasing this product, I hope you find this review valuable.

It took me just one day to receive my Simpson pressure washer. My next action will be to get the machine, but first I need to get it delivered. Amazon scheduled delivery to have my package delivered. I was scheduled to meet with her on a Saturday morning from 6am to 10am 900 a. m. I used XPO Logistics as the carrier. At 715, the driver called 30 minutes in advance to let me know that he was coming. A 30am start. This heavy box was carried in by two men from my truck all the way into my garage by two men. It was a pleasure working with them. They were very professional and I would give them a 10 out of 10. Here is the machine Honda engine, Cat pump, aluminum body. I can't complain about any of those things.
There are a few things I would like to improve, 1). Why on earth would Simpson package a $1300 pressure washer in a flimsy box. What if I buy a cardboard box for 50 cents? If, for example, you wanted to send cotton balls or feather pillows, this box would be fine. 1) The wand itself. It has a nice brass quick coupling on the outside and a nice chrome finish on the inside. The inside is littered with rust pits, however. I have a ton of rust just waiting to clog my tips, not to mention that it will completely rust through in no time.
3)The I like the fact that Simpson supplies the engine oil, but they send a Simpson house brand of oil (in a strange little bag) that does not indicate its API rating. The oil could be 20 years old and not meet the specs for my brand new Honda GX390. I'm sorry, but I just checked, and it could be old oil. If I have a Simpson engine, I will replace the oil with the proper one and save the Simpson oil for starting a campfire or something like that, it will never go into my engine. This machine has not even been started yet (I need fresh gas first), but as soon as I finish it, I will update my A small update purchased a quart of Mobile 1 full synthetic 10w30 from the parts store, along with a bottle of Star Tron Enzyme fuel treatment to compensate for the alcohol in the gasoline. It took exactly one quart of oil to fill the engine. Turn the engine on, full throttle, full choke, and pull the rope to prime the fuel system before you turn it off. Once the ignition has been turned on, pull the rope one time and watch the engine start and run smoothly. It must be said, though, that this machine (ALH4240) is a beast. As soon as you pull the trigger, if you're not ready, you'll be thrown off balance by the water pressure and flow. I was able to clean my dirty driveway with ease. I am afraid it may actually be way too much machine for me. The average homeowner probably wouldn't find this powerful enough for his or her As compared to some other reviews, I had no issues with leaks of water or oil. The vibration was not an issue for me, as it was There is only one important improvement that I can see that can be made to the machine, and that is to install longer "wheelbarrow" style handles that make it easier for the operator to maneuver.
