It was a good thing I wasn't the one to swallow the wire from the brush in my burger and not get sick from In an outraged state, I went out to examine the grill and found dozens of wires separated from their bundles along the edges of the grate. My heart sank as I watched that. The absurdity of this is beyond comprehension. There is the potential for any of these wires to cause It's the first wire grill brush I've used and I have never had a problem with it. New brushes like this one go in the trash.

A Review of the Situation As a result of the fallible construction of Kona's 360 Grill Brush, I am unable to award it anything other than 1 star. It is a good idea to avoid this one if you have many little ones and/or value the safety of both your friends' and your own feet. You can get a more detailed story by continuing to read. Currently, I have the following experiences As part of a grill revitalization effort this past spring, I purchased this, along with a bunch of replacement parts for my venerable Weber Genesis Silver B. We've been expanding our food list to include more yaki-related dishes so I was in need of new flavorizors and grates It is a Japanese method of grilling that includes constant glazing and means that the food is cooked in an open flame. As a result of the glazing over the years, combined with high heat and repetitive use, the parts began to wear out and I thought I'd treat myself to a nice sturdy brush to thoroughly clean the grill before using it this year. * The Kona 360 Grill Brush is available here. In the back yard I was taking apart the grill and scraping over paper bags, and the brush worked quite well. It is the perfect size and shape so it can easily be inserted into corners and around thinner warming grate/baskets and I was impressed with the result. It is one of the most effective brushes I have used to clean a grill after it has been soiled with gunk. Continuing the story, after burger night with my friends I had a mini party in the back yard on the weekend to shake off the cold. My friend walked in the grass near the grill where I had been cleaning the grates an hour into the evening, mid grilling. He let out a yelp and I yelled back. A metal bristle that had become embedded in his toe was pulled out by him as he hopped back to the lawn chair. It had all the makings of a bloodbath some beer, some apology, and a bit of blood We ended up with a funny story after we got a bandage. As I walked into the back yard two nights later, I thought I stepped on a bee as I watered the plants. So, I hopped back to my patio with a sharp pain in my heel and discovered that I had a bristle in my hand. My running gag for the rest of the grilling season turned into making sure to wear sandals everywhere in my yard. While we had a good laugh about it, I can assure you this review would have been far less accommodating if any of the kids or pets had stepped on it. Based on what I have seen in other reviews, the situations are similar. I urge you to pay attention if you found your way here! It is possible they have improved the construction, but I will not risk it again. The grill brush I used last night was by far the best of all the grill brushes I've used in the past 15 years. Getting the grates clean is a simple matter of gently touching them no need to grind them down. As well as being easily accessible from the top, the grates can also be reached from the sides. It still works like the day I bought it (it is still going like the day I bought it), so I will definitely have to get another one! This is an update for 7/8/16 - Ever since I bought this brush, I have been using it hard and it does not appear to have worn out at all. Despite the fact that this brush has been outdoors under the grill for the last four years, there is little rust and it is still working perfectly. The project is still a big hit. After email exchanges, a picture of the used brush, and a few days I received a replacement brush - no questions asked. My expectation was for the usual runaround and 'fine print' exclusions, but they arrived on time and true to their word. I got the best grill brush I have ever purchased from this company, plus the best customer service I have ever received.

In the past, I was going through the standard grill brushes from Home Depot and Lowes every three to four months I had been spending $40 per month for 4 months and was getting sick of it For the past year, I have been paying $50 to have my grill cleaned. A while ago, I spotted the Kona 360 on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I am happy to tell you that it works great! After brushing the toughest grill gunk (be sure to heat the grill to high temperature before you do so), one back and forth stroke will do the trick. The durability of the product is We are happy to report that after two months of heavy use, we see very little signs of wear on the Kona 360! As long as it holds up at this pace it should easily make it another year Two years (I would have bought at least 6 brushes in two years at $12. I'm 99!)! The customer is very satisfied, and would recommend it to anyone no matter how much they grill! In the long run, you will save money and time by spending a few extra dollars on the original purchase.

The best of the best. This is the first brush I have A 14 year old Weber Geneses Silver B lives in my yard. As a result of disassembling it, I thoroughly cleaned the top end and cleaned all the burners (which were in excellent condition) and degreased and scraped the To prevent rust on my cast iron grill grates that are also original, I normally clean them after each use and spray a small amount of Pam cooking oil on them. Having this traditional brush fit into the grates exactly right is a great way to improve your home. flip the grates over with a pair of channel lock pliers while they are still warm, and that way they are easier to grip. We use the Kona brush and another horizontal roller brush with hot water to clean the bottom of the sink, and the grease drops.
