It was so great that I got a new lease on life for my (originally $350) grill for only 10% of the original cost. I took away one star as other reviewers mentioned that the tune-up cost was too much. There were no new screws or nuts to secure the burner tubes on the back side of the kit. If the old screws were exposed to extreme heat when they were installed, they are most likely to corrode, and you will not be able to reuse them. By the time you get them out, they will pretty much be useless. The good news is that I have a collection of odd-end screws and nuts in my workshop (I have never met a screw and nut combination that I did not save), so finding the correct screws was merely a matter of going to my workshop. In other words, I would have had to go to the hardware store to find machine screws and corresponding nuts to substitute for the original screws. Despite the fact that it is a dirty job, one can still perform it with some perseverance and elbow grease. It is covered with grease and a lot of other substances. Power tools are usually not required (generally). However, corroded original screws along the back of the burner tubes will need to be removed. The installation of the tune-up kit was largely completed with a screwdriver, pliers, and a pair of Vise Grips (for those corroded screws and nuts). A kit to set up. This is what I need to do now. It would be nice if Amazon carried the remaining part I need (the drip pan) to complete the rest of my grill's tune-up. The truth is that you can't find everything on Amazon, despite the urban legend. A drip pan, which has been subjected to liquid and heat for several years, is beginning to corrode. Although I was fortunate enough to find another vendor on the internet who provides them, I am not sure when I will receive them (they were out of stock at the time I ordered it, so I am not the only one suffering from this).

With the exception of the screws, everything worked great and was easy to install. Moreover, they were too large and of the wrong kind. It was necessary to slightly increase the sizes of the holes in order for the screw to go into the holes. Secondly, there were no nuts to use to hold in the screws, so we had to use the old nuts. Other than that, everything.

There is no doubt that I made a When I searched for "charbroil Classic" there was no model number to go with the name. The first thing that popped up was what I ordered. The right size is not available again. . . I should have measured first. It looks like the stuff is of decent quality though.

It was clear that the major components fit together well, and the As the hardware was not up to par, I had to purchase additional sheet metal screws and washers to complete the mounting. As soon as the installation was completed, everything worked as it should.
