It should work, but make sure to check your burner's gas input valve.
You'll need a regulator to do this. Because there is too much pressure coming directly from the tank, your griddle is getting very hot.

The metal-to-metal seal on the tapered seat is provided by the 45-degree flare fitting between the hose and the adapter. See the first attachment for the red lines. Tighten the adapter on without the gasket as long as the tapered surfaces are not scratched. To deal with scratches, there are annealed copper flare gaskets, as well as plastic gaskets for some other applications. br> I'm not sure what the black flat gasket is made of, or how long it will withstand the elements before hardening, cracking, or shrinking. If installed, it will be severely deformed, and it will almost certainly shred and send a small chunk of rubber downstream, plugging the griddle. Worse, it may crack later, resulting in a leak and a fire at the connection. Teflon tape is not required. If the flare leaks, propane can escape via the threads or by removing the nut. A leak at the flared surface can't be stopped by sealing only one path. br> I connected everything up after digging out and discarding the rubber gasket and tightening the adapter with a couple of open end wrenches. I used a bubble solution to check for leaks and found none. The griddle is now hot, and the regulator is functioning properly. Overall, after just one use, I'm pleased with the product. I'm just worried that if the manufacturer can't even understand a basic flared fitting, what else do they not understand?.
It used to be the hose, but I believe this time it was the regluator. I was in the middle of preparing a meal and couldn't find the pieces at the Home Depot where I bought the griddle. On my griddle, I discovered this hidden gem that replaces both the factory regulator and hose. My griddle fired up right away and worked perfectly after I installed it. I'm going to get a second one just in case.
This was purchased to allow us to upgrade our Blackstone to larger gas tanks, and it worked flawlessly. We were quickly depleting the small propane bottles, but with this hose, we can now use the larger tanks, as we use the Blackstone almost daily. Our purchase has made us extremely happy.
To light the charcoal on my grill, I use 1 pound propane canisters. It was time to find a way to feed the grill using a low-pressure adapter because they were becoming increasingly expensive. br>br>This hose and regulator, when combined with this adapter, provide a simple solution that will pay for itself over the course of the summer. br>br>Without the brass griddle adapter, which costs about $10 on Amazon, this hose would be a better deal. br>br>With the regulator on the grill, the Hose and Regulator work fine. Make time for your studies!.
Call me a cheap slacker butthead if you want. I'm too cheap to purchase single cylinders for my grill on a regular basis. So you get a propane adapter and use it with a 5 or 20 gallon propane tank. The adapter hose and the original bottle feed adapter must then be fiddled with. So go ahead and buy it, throw it on the grill, and call it a day. Everything is fine in my RV because I have the original adapter and two or three emergency propane bottles.
This regulator appears to be of good quality, with hose and fittings to match. My Blackstone had issues right away when I tried it on a 20-pounder. tank. After disconnecting the regulator four or five times and opening the tank valve VERY slowly and only a little, the regulator would only allow a very small flame to burn. br>br>Not only is this replacement fully functional, but it also makes routing the hose to the tank more convenient. br>br>I am completely satisfied.
This right-angled brass adapter with hose connects to a full-sized propane bottle that I came across. This was the seller's second purchase from him. The first purchase, made from a different seller, was unsuccessful. Because the brass fitting was defective, I was able to complete my design with this purchase. A 5' hose connects to my propane bottle, which is located beneath my griddle. In addition, the regulator is attached to the bottle nozzle rather than the griddle inlet. br>Everything is in my favor! If you're in a hurry, portability is also a plus!.
This purchase has made me very happy.
