Questions & Answers

Who can tell me what the leg footprints are? The footprint of the legs needs to be measured for length and width. ?

Yet I don't have this grill, but I plan on buying it soon for my camping trip. One common unanswered question I have seen about this grill is what it looks like when shut-up. For a grill designed to be compact and portable, you'd think Weber would publicize this information. Yesterday, I measured the floor model at a local Home Depot in order to figure out what I needed. br>The width of this piece is 32 inches when the side shelves are closed. Including the lid, the height of the cupboard is 15 inches. A 5 inch diameter. From the front handle to the back of the hinges, measuring from the back of the hinge to the front of the handle, the depth is 18 inches. A 5 inch diameter. With a footprint of 21 by 15 inches, the feet have a width of 21 inches and a depth of 15 inches. If not in use, the side tables fold up into the grill when not in use, and they are 12 inches wide. A grilling surface measuring 22 inches wide and 16 inches deep measures 22 inches long and As the grilling surface tapers towards each end, it does appear to taper somewhat. Grilling grates can be replaced with griddle plates, so one can be used instead. It actually has a cover over the burner built into it. As it appears to be screwed into the regulator, it can be removed to connect to another regulated source, such as a water supply in The regulator is held in place using a couple screws, so there was no way for me to remove it in the store.

Can a small propane canister be used for a long time?

When I use a Coleman disposable canister this way, I get 2 1/2 hours of use out of it This will give you some ideas, so here they are 1. During the preheat, the oven should be running at high for 8 minutes. 3.
When I place my steak on the grill, I turn the heat down to half. 1. 2. 3. It takes approximately 4 to 6 minutes for steaks depending on how thick they are. My cooking was done exactly as described above, using 3 canisters and a timer each time the containers were lit and extinguished. In the past few months, I've converted to a full size propane tank—which I hope to finish by Wednesday. The canisters would last a while, so I wanted to find out how long they

In all of the dimensions I see, the lid is open and the side platforms are Are there any dimensions when the lid is closed with the buttons tucked between the lid and the body?

The Weber company (800) 446-8385 has been contacted A rep for 1071 said it was approximately, since she had to go to the floor and measure the lid closed tables retracted. Table Q2200 is 27 inches long, table Q1200 is 17 inches long.

Is this what the world has become? There are negative reviews about how this needs assembly, but I'm not sure what's going on here
5/5

You don't need to be an expert at assembly if you are familiar with a Phillips screwdriver and know which end goes into the screw. Nevertheless, if you are the type who will poking the screwdriver into the eye with some regularity, cooking over an open flame might not be an excellent idea. A typical "assembly" consists of the following components Two Phillips head stainless steel screws and two spacers are used to attach the handle to the front of the lid. Because the nuts are molded into the handle, you don't need a wrench to fit them on. I'm sure you remember, right? I'm tight on the left side The loosey goosey. Be careful not to poke your eye with a screwdriver. Someone should stand by with a phone so they can call 911 in case you make a mistake. 3.
You should attach the thermometer to the lid of the jar. With this attachment, the key is keyed and the wingnut is used. You should seek the help of a professional if operating a wingnut is beyond your capabilities. 1. 2. 3. Two pins should be inserted between the lower part of the lid and the lower part of the This is as easy as it gets when you fit a round peg into a round hole. For this reason, do not use matches or propane if you have problems. 4 *br Make sure that the holes on the end of the pins are lined up with teeth to keep the pins Make sure you don't poke your eye out with the needles. It is not a good idea to 5 * v. *br The ignitor button must be twisted to open and turn on. Insert the included battery. Batteries contain a button that goes into the BBQ, and the flat end works as a Keep the battery away from your mouth. The *br6. The hard part of this is Placing the two piece grill top on the BBQ, remove the box from the grill tops and place them side by side. The time it took me to cut up the box and put it in the recycling bin was longer than the amount of time it took to construct this. It is probably a good idea that if you are not mechanically inclined, do not have a Phillips screwdriver, and/or do not have two fingers with which to turn a wing nut, either you should buy one or replace it if it breaks Hire a neighbor to assemble it for you, or pick one up from a local store. Please, all-- Propane burns pretty cleanly, as far as the "invisible flame" complaints are concerned. There is no invisible flame here, it is blue and is not so large. Well, if you light this thing and it gets hot, there is no recourse. You will be disappointed if you expect large yellow/red flames to leap forth from the barbecue. I have found these barbecues to be very efficient. One of my dad's bicycles has been around for years and I've done a couple triathlons as well It is great with things like skirt steaks and tips. A uniform heat distribution is achieved. If you keep the lid closed, you will avoid spills. He bought a second one to keep the first with his camper since his first one worked so well. It was the first time I bought his work after seeing it so well for years. Its relatively light weight makes it easy to carry around. As well as being well built, they are also quite sturdy. Although they do require a very minimal amount of assembly, they do still require minimal preparation. This is not something you should attempt to build yourself. The best thing you can do is to find a local store that will put it together It isn't hard. If you honestly do not possess a Phillips screwdriver, I'll tell you how to find one.

The small grill is great
5/5

The large 3 burner Weber that I currently have needs to be temporarily replaced by a smaller, lighter propane grill. A lot of the meals I prepare are for my family I grill a lot (four times a week) so I need a grill that will stand up to a lot of use, and cheaper grills don't get the best reviews for long-term My two cents refers to the fact that I disagree with several of the complaints regarding this grill. A couple of things stand out about this grill first, it heats up fast- faster than my big grill It takes 6 minutes to reach 450 degrees. A 400 on medium is the same as a 400 on a Within a few seconds of opening the lid to turn the food and reclosing the lid, it is back to normal temperature. There was also a complaint that the flame holes got I don't understand the problem since the cooking grates cover the burner so it is not possible to cause this. The third fact is that while indirect cooking isn't the best method for large items, it can be achieved if you use a low flame and center the food. Some criticisms are valid to me, and I do agree with them In the first place, it must be assembled Upon opening the box, you will not be able to use it. The second reason is that you won't get the same grill marks that you would get with a larger grill because of the way the grate is configured. In addition, the cart for this grill is wobbly and cheaply made. If I hadn't bought it, I would have regretted As a result, if you intend to move it around, you'd need it, but if it will remain stationary, you might wish to buy something else altogether. I'm very happy with it and glad I made my decision without listening to If you need a small grill, this is a great option for you. I won't replace my big grill, but for someone who does, this is I have updated As of when I wrote this review, I had been using it quite a bit, and I can attest that it is very efficient in using the gas. In 16 ounces of water, I can cook ten times. This bottle holds. It would take me about two and a half hours of gas time to cook all this food using the gas (I've said before that preheating is quick to accomplish) I've mostly cooked in the medium setting, but I've also used the low setting for a few I have another update for you My large grill has mostly been replaced by this one because I have grown to love it that much. As a matter of fact, I find this one to be better for foods that cook faster and need greater intensity, like kabobs. As long as I hook up the cooker to a large propane tank, I won't have to fill up the bottle while I cook- There is no gauge on the small bottles. This grill has been a great value for me so far. I have had one instance of the flame holes clogging, but I simply used a paperclip trick and all was well.

This is going to be a hot one! From my children, this was a Father's Day gift for me
5/5

had already started eyeing it up for when the cash came in. Despite my 68 years old age, I can say that this is the best grill I have ever experienced. It's great to cook meat on the porcelain enameled heavy cast iron grates. My steaks and hamburgers were seared perfectly to seal in the juices and to preserve their flavors, following the preheating instructions. *It is quick and easy to prepare food and to cook it. By making an opening in the bottom of the grease catcher, drippings and dropped food are easy to clean up after. Traditionally, porcelain grills can be cleaned with elbow grease and safe oven cleaner (even warm soapy water to soak in) or by putting them in good thing is that they don't rust and you don't have to season them. A small family of four would have plenty of room here. The kids also gave me the cart and cover, which I could use. It is recommended that both be done. A stainless steel burner is located perfectly, and with its hundreds of ports, it is capable of producing a very stable and uniform
Don't forget to do this. You're buying a product made in the.

Because I'm single and cannot handle the tank, I prefer not to go through that hassle. I like this grill a lot! The little cans of 16 oz are easy to replace and I keep them in bulk. This is the last four The minimum number of meals is 5 per day. There is nothing better than love.
