Upon searching on Amazon for this particular product sold by several different manufacturers but identical, I came to the following conclusion. Since ROVSUN was the least expensive, I decided to give it a try. Being frugal, I didn't expect much, but ROVSUN did not other manufacturers had negative reviews from poor workmanship to terrible packaging. The stainless steel thickness is more than adequate, the grill grate is all stainless steel. The only downside is that the heat distribution is uneven, but this would be the case for any gas grill, even the one I have at As you can see in the photos, the grill arrived nine days before it was scheduled, the packaging was exceptional, it could have survived a drop from 50 feet, it's excellently made and it's worth its weight in gold. We purchased this grill for storage in our RV when we go camping. It was our first time using it, so before going on a trip we used it twice at home to make sure we knew what to expect. I finally figured out how to light it, you have to keep clicking it on, then off, then back on until the gas lights up. It would have been nice to have a pushbutton igniter, but once we found a solution it worked fine. I like how compact it is for its size and how well it folds down. The stainless steel seems to be a decent gauge and works well to clean.
Large enough to hold 4 chicken thighs, 4 drumsticks, and 4 wings, with a little room to spare, we managed to fit quite a bit on the grill. The amount of food for a family of 5 is sufficient. The only problem is that when I cook on low, the food cooks hot. It heats up too much when I cook chicken or burgers, respectively. Both of them flared up quite a bit for me. I think the hot cooking temps were caused by the small amount of space between the grate and the heat. The flames were low but the grate was only about 2 inches from All in all, I consider this an excellent choice for what we are going to use I also put my hand underneath the pot while it was cooking to make sure it was not too hot for a plastic table if we were going to use My sense is that it will not burn the surface you place it on, since it was perfectly cool under the unit. I would definitely buy it again. It is a trailer for the road. Most other portable grills have small grill areas, but this grill is much larger. It still turned out that we cooked some really great meals during our 5 weeks off despite that somewhat false statement - The road is the perfect place for In terms of gauge, the stainless steel isn't too thick, as you would expect for a portable grill. That way, it wouldn't Although it will last longer than the heavy duty SS grill on our back deck, the drawback is that it won't be as durable. I discovered the hard way that the SS edges on the inside of the grill are pretty sharp (found that out too late). A 10' hose was substituted for the short hose, and I added a quick disconnect, so we could hook the hose up directly to the trailer's gas line. There is a lot of value here for the money.

The grill is nice and small. It's normal for 430 stainless to show a little rust in spots after being fired really hot, but that's to be expected. If we want to eliminate this we'll have to make it from stainless steel 316, which is about ten times as expensive. The thickness is ideal for a grill of this size. Despite the flame level being high, I have never encountered any issues. The temperature will climb even on low when the lid is closed when there is no food on the grate, but once there is food on the grate, the temperature will come down, and the grill will cook pretty much as my large Weber grill. It does even better than my home grill and is even better than what I expected. Stainless steel is easy to clean, and it is all stainless. My big one at home is more difficult to use than this one. The fact that it really heats up makes us take it with us camping all the time. This is great.

The company did not respond to my attempts to contact them. I am not satisfied with the warranty. Flames are erupting beyond the flame deflectors because the burners have rusted out. The grease tray is easy to clean. The hot spots with both burners on can be a bit uncomfortable, but that would be to be expected in a small space. I just don't want to miss out on the beach fun because I'm not warm enough. The burner I usually turn off after it gets hot is usually only used for two people, so I usually leave it on until it gets hot again. That way I can move objects around easily if they need to be moved. Although I have only had it a couple months, I have not seen any sign of rust, but I am sure it will set in over.

It is the next best grill to buy for anyone who does not want something so big and awkward. I have made steak, potatoes, and corn on the cob with it. The results are excellent and we are very happy with them. I am thankful for Amazon! I can't think of a negative thing to say about this grill.
