Following the assembly instructions is the key to assembly success. It takes two people to do it. The meat and veggies turn out Each week, we make use of it several times. Buy a bag of pellets while you're there.
I am in love with it. A Traeger is a sturdy piece of equipment. Playing with my grandkids was great with the box, the little play house really made their day. I appreciate your kind words.
Over there is a huge backyard. As a first step. Throughout my 40 years of smoking meat, I have learned many techniques. A great smoker, some wood, and a couple of burners is what you need With a fire cooking source and a long history. On the day I ordered the 780 Pro, I gave my previous smoker to my daughter. The mistake was big. Then I sold it for a much cheaper version of the other model I have been using for a very long time. Basically, it's just a huge, expensive oven for your backyard. Reviews online indicate that this machine does not burn much (read all the online reviews). When it first turns on, a good amount of smoke is emitted, but as the stove heats up, the smoke fades away. When the temperature is raised or lowered, you get smoke for a few minutes and then it goes away. My opinion is that the pellets are burned too hot in the burner Even after several hours, the baby backs had a good flavor, but the smokey flavor was unnoticeable. The first time I brought 3 finished slabs inside for dinner, my wife said. There's an aroma of Pot Roast in the air. Within a day, it had been sold. A griller/smoker I prefer may be the Chargriller Pro with the side mounted fire box option. Two of them have already been consumed and I am in the midst of purchasing my third. Excellent quality and You ain't cooking with wood if you don't have a wood stove. There's no BBQ in your future.
A very easy to assemble and operate machine with great temperature control. The WiFi required a couple of attempts to set up, but after the process was completed, it worked like a charm. There has to have been more patience/perseverance on the part of the people who say the WiFi is garbage. It is worth every penny to buy a grill, according to me.
This is an extremely thin smoker since it is so thin it would not maintain proper temperatures on it, especially at over $1000 for that you can almost buy a Yoder from 1/4" steel plate, I bought one of these before returning it locally and went for the Yoder.
