Traeger grill did not work after I purchased it recently. As we spent more than an hour on the phone trying to fix the issue, they mailed me a part. I told them there were other error messages, and they said if I installed the igniter I should call them and ask them how it went. My response was that I did not feel comfortable since it seemed like there was a bigger problem and that I lacked the knowledge to complete the assignment. In their response, they told me that they could provide me with the names of technicians to hire, which I could pay for. We're talking about a brand new grill here! The right thing to do would have been for them to send me a new one, but You can return a used car within 3 days for a full refund with Comcast you can also use their customer service. The only thing you can do if you decide to buy one is to hope that it will not turn out to be a lemon like the one I bought. They do not honestly stand behind their products.

As part of a beta test group last weekend, a firmware update was given to resolve the temperature issues. I have been comparing the temperatures at both the low and high end and they are nearly the same. A temperature difference of 10 degrees is possible at most when the temperature reaches Thanks for the update. I'm glad it's working so well. A remote control and monitoring of the grill's temperature was an incredible feature that convinced me to buy it. I cannot use the app because the temperature displayed on the display and in the app can be significantly different from the During high temperatures, the Trager will tell you it is at 400 degrees, while the inner grill is at 325 degrees. In reality, I achieve an internal temperature of about 190 when I set my grill to 225 degrees. THERE IS A COMMON PROBLEM HERE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS! The Pro 575 I bought yesterday from Sportsman's Warehouse in my local area. Traegers are supposed to be good, so I thought I would be good to go. The assumption I made was incorrect. In reality, only 300 degrees are reached when the thermostat is set to 350 degrees. Even at a temperature of 450, this only results in a temperature of I Googled the problem and found tons of reviews with the same problem, and after reading MUCH of the same feedback on the home depot website, I wish I had looked at it sooner. According to reports, the new Traegers are not getting to temp as quickly as the older ones. The weekend is coming up for me to return mine.

So, I did extensive comparison shopping between Traeger and other brands, such as In the end, I decided on Traeger and did research to determine which Traeger grill I should purchase. This 575 turned out to be the right choice SPECIFICALLY because of its WiFi As I was walking around the house, I wanted to be able to check on my grill or meat. Then I went to the ace store and bought a My grill was ready to use when I got home and I set it up immediately. Well, things did not go well for the mood After setting up the Wifire app, I ran to the HEB to purchase supplies while the grill was heating up, and I used it to run to HEB while the grill was heating Through my phone, I was able to track it. Unlike what was said, this was not It kept giving me error messages about the grill being in an unknown mode and the app not being able to connect to it. Therefore, I called the customer service department, hoping the problem could be resolved easily. That was not the case. In the end I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them trying to uninstall the app, restart the grill, ect. All for nothing because I was unable to resolve the issue. They said they would file a support case and call me back on When I left (a Friday afternoon), the rain had just started. The grilling and smoking on the weekend was something I was looking forward to. Every time that I fired up the grill, I expected that the app would work, and it never did. Every time I tried to open the app, it gave me the same Today is Thursday, and customer support just called me back. Did they come up with The answer is No! A representative from the telephone company told me that my internet isn't strong enough, and then suggested I buy a WiFi router Do you really mean that? Would you recommend buying a WiFi booster as an answer to my problem? A grill is located on the back porch, just 2 feet away from my WiFi router and The system I have is an Eero system, and the internet I have is a 1GB Spectrum connection. I explained to the support rep how all my other devices (phone, computers, Ring cameras, ect) work just fine on the WiFi and they are a lot farther away from the router/modem than the grill. The representative suggested that I purchase a booster for the grill. You want me to spend more money to increase my already amazing WiFi because you don't want to admit there is something wrong with the grill or the app? I spent $799 for a "state of the art" grill and you want me to spend more money to increase the WiFi I already have?

Don't waste your time trying to find a Traeger that's bigger and better. Investing time and money in this will be a waste of both. Having to deal with customer support will also be a waste of time. The grill is beyond disappointing to me, and I will return it as soon as possible.

Traeger has a good reputation, so I bought it. It is possible that the grill is fine, but I don't know because it has been almost 2 months since I bought it and now the WIFI still won't connect. I've called the 800 number a few times, and on one day, I called more than About 3 days after I started asking, he told me that the WiFi was down. The new unit still would not connect after a week after its installation by me. I made sure my internet was strong, added a password, etc. After several more weeks of different technicians trying to get it going, finally the top tech was able to resolve it. I called the senior tech back a few days later. He tried several things including removing the app and putting the grill AGAIN in the living room (up 3 steps), but he couldn't get it to work. I was told to expect the grill to have to be taken back and I would be contacted. Then I waited another 2 days, called, waited 49 minutes on hold, and told him I didn't want to deal with it any more, so the manager was summoned to the scene. It was a VERY SMART, RUDE punk. He told me to just use the grill as it is. As soon as I told him I paid extra for the wifi, he told me that it was not a Well, when they sold it to me, it sure was a big deal. He was going to see what they would do as I hadn't fired the grill yet. Since it has been 2 days since the last reply, there has been I would not recommend buying a Traeger, (made in Vietnam by the way), because they are terrible!.
