It has so far been a good experience. My 30" Masterbuilt Electric Smoker (MES) has this plug-in. I had troubles hooking up my smoker to the outside electric circuit because the breaker would trip immediately after it was plugged The power switch was turned off before I even had a chance It appears that a moisture build-up can cause this issue inside the heater element, based on research I conducted on the internet. Once my element was in place, I was able to plug it in, turn it on and have the MES reach the temperature I wanted. The rest of this week is going to be spent smoking.

Exactly what I was looking for! If you are not mechanically inclined, it might be a little challenging, but that is not the fault of the part, it is the problem of the manufacturer

Exactly as it should be! Be sure to keep all the nuts, bolts, and rubber insulation sheet as they are not included in the box (only the heating element).

This was an easy installation and even came with an extra bolt as the stock one had become damaged. Ships in about 3 days if you choose fast shipping. In my memory, the last time my smoker heated up so fast was several years ago.
