As far as I know, there is There is an open end on one end and a solid end with holes on the other. We do not have a cap.
Neither end of the pipe is sealed. One end of it has holes and the other just has an open end, no cap.

There is no other option, unless you have a Traeger smoker with "super smoke. " The smoke only comes out of the fire at about 170 degrees, so it would take too long for the cook to complete. As a result, the meats now taste better after being smoked. Having two size tubes makes sense if you want variable cooking time. I use the same pellets in both sizes as I do in the Traeger. It is best not to fill the tube too full, or the pellets will fall To light the pellets, you need a torch because there is about an inch of space between the pellets and tube opening. With the kitchen torch and butane cans I purchased, I can use it wherever I am. During the next five minutes, light the pellets until they are red and allow them to get started. Once the Traeger is lit, turn it on. It's time to smoke!.
I guess I'll do that. Each tube is open at one end - What a stupid thing to do. In order to use two closed ends at once, I cut off the closed ends of each tubes and use them on one tube at a time, the shorter one for short cooks and the longer one for longer ones. I don't think they need any more smoke since they already work well. Fill a small pan and get it raging on fire, then put it on the grill without any other fire. Put a few blocks of cheese in there. There is no need to spend more than 4 minutes on this. It takes too long to listen to 5 minutes of audio. As a bonus, you can still taste the cheese and have a great smoke flavor.
This is an easy tool to use. Mesquite pellets as well as mesquite chips have been used by me. It works amazingly well. The wood chunks I've been using for smoked flavoring are from a local wood shop. It would have been ideal if it had S hooks, but it does.

In my previous position, I had an offset wood and charcoal fired smoker and moved to a pellet grill , but the smoke flavor was missed. By lighting these smoke tubes and waiting for 30 minutes, I can taste the fantastic smoke flavor in every dish I make! It is great for steaks, burgers, and fish, as well as brisket, pork belly, etc. The 6 inch is perfect for steak, burgers, and fish.
I have no issues with this at all.
A genius of cold smoke. It even gets used for smoking in my pellet grill for cooking at high temperatures. If you are having trouble lighting a fire, get some fire starting gel.
