Questions & Answers

There's another one like it, but it's priced at 199. What is the distinction between 149 and 149? 99 & 199. 99?

Hello, and thank you for contacting me with your inquiry! The $199. Our Master-model number is most likely 99. A warming rack, rubber wheels, a Gourmet BBQ System, and two charbasket charcoal holders are included in the Touch Kettle, which is similar to the Original Kettle Premium except it is about 2" taller. Thanks!

Is there enough space between the lid and the cooking grate to cook "Beer Can Chickens," and if so, how many are there? How about a turkey and a large pork ham as well?

Beer can chicken is a gimmick, but it will fit under the lid of a 22" grill and will easily cook a 12 pound turkey. On an 18" Weber, I made my first turkey. Have fun

With this grill, how many people can you feed? How many chicken breasts or burgers could you cook at once on the grill?

Keep in mind that how you set up your charcoal for direct or indirect cooking will have an impact on this. If you're using the Weber Chimney to start your coals, you'll probably put the pile of coals on one side of the grill and leave the other half for indirect cooking (a full chimney only covers about half of the grill anyway). You'll probably want to start by charring the burgers over direct heat, then switch to indirect if necessary. This makes up about half of the grill's usable space. So I'd say you'd be able to fit six people comfortably. 8 burgers of reasonable size, or 4 burgers At any given time, 5 chicken breasts on one side of the grill; however, it would be simple to cook for 6 people. Cooking the first batch of burgers/chicken over direct heat, then moving to indirect heat to finish, and then starting the next batch of burgers/chicken over direct heat (cycle it) will feed 7 people.

What country does it come from?

It's not the same quality as a Weber grill made in China or Mexico. I'd skip it in favor of a good, high-quality grill made in the United States, such as the Webber that made the company famous.

My First Weber Kettle was a huge success! I've always bought used Weber Kettle grills from yard or garage sales, never paying full price because the used ones have always served me well

My wife, on the other hand, wanted to get me a brand new Kettle for Father's Day 2018. As a result, we've chosen the 22" Green Premium Kettle. In just a few days, it arrived via Amazon. br>br>It wasn't too difficult to set up. I agree with the majority of people who say the instructions could be improved. The legs are difficult to install; I used a paper clip to get the snap to line up perfectly. In order to put the legs on, you'll need one of these. br>br>Once the grill was set up (15 minutes), it was time to cook. ), it's easy to get the smoke going. The following was my first cook:
1. Chicken Legs with Jerk Seasoningbr>2. 3. Clams stuffedbr> Baked Potatoes and Steakbr>br>It's a lot of food, but I had to ease her into it, and she did an excellent job! All of the food was a hit with the entire family. br>br>It was simple to clean with. I simply swept all of the ashes to the bottom and then removed the ash tray, which was very quick. br>br>I love this green cooking machine and know it will last a long time!.

Grilling success for the first time! First and foremost, I must state that this is my first time using a grill
5/5

I had no interest in grilling as a single woman until I bought a house two years ago and built a deck in the backyard; with so much outdoor space to enjoy, I knew I needed a grill to entertain (and feed) family and friends. I was planning on buying a grill and leaving the grilling to my father or brother, but much to my surprise, I really enjoyed it and enjoyed grilling hamburgers and hot dogs on this Weber kettle grill for my first backyard party just yesterday! br>br>Before purchasing this grill from Amazon, I conducted extensive research. I chose a charcoal grill over a propane grill because I didn't want to deal with propane tanks (a friend's grill caught fire due to a faulty hose, nearly destroying his home- Thank you, but no! ), I prefer the flavor and aroma of charcoal grills, and most importantly, it was less expensive to purchase a nice charcoal grill like this one than it was to purchase an equally nice propane grill. With a charcoal grill, the initial investment in grilling was lower. This freed up funds for some essential accessories, which I strongly recommend to anyone considering purchasing this grill: a chimney starter, grilling tools such as tongs and forks, a steel brush for cleaning the grates, Weber Fire starter cubes, and heavy-duty mitts to protect your hands and forearms while grilling I bought everything at the same time as the grill from Amazon. br>br>When it came to choosing a charcoal grill, I went with this model over a cheaper model because of the ash catcher, and I'm glad I did. br>br>With the exception of attaching the ash catcher, the grill arrived in its original box and was simple to assemble on my own. But I persisted in trying (while referring to the image- Only instructions were provided, and I was able to obtain it in the end. It took about 40 minutes to put together, and I did it all by myself. br>br>One of the best things I did was look up videos of this grill being used and put together on the internet. I learned how to reduce heat by closing the vents on the lid and bottom, as well as how to use a chimney starter and Weber Fire Starter cubes (which I highly recommend) to quickly get the charcoal ready for grilling. br>br>When my brother and father arrived at my house for our Memorial Day BBQ yesterday, they were both skeptical of the charcoal grill because they both have propane grills at home and prefer their convenience. My brother estimated that it would take an hour to prepare the coals. "Those burgers are far too thick to be cooked all the way through. " My father predicted that they would be raw in the middle. br>br>Both were taken aback when the charcoal came out of the chimney in about 20 minutes! After getting some nice grill marks on both sides of the burgers, I closed the vents and put the lid on to let the burgers finish cooking in the middle at a lower temperature. The burgers were absolutely delicious! The best compliment was when Dad and others asked how I managed to grill these thick burgers without them turning to dust. Everything is contained within the vents! I also believe that purchasing a fantastic grill aided my efforts. By the end of the party, both my brother and father had inquired about the grill. I believe they will be replacing their propane grills with Weber kettle grills in the near future. )br>br>Finally, some advice for any aspiring grill masters out there, such as myself. Start with this grill if you want to do yourself a favor. It's a good grill, according to all of the positive reviews. It's telling that so many seasoned backyard chefs keep coming back to their Weber kettle grills. Also, keep an eye out on YouTube for recipes. I googled "hamburger on charcoal grill" and came up with a slew of videos with excellent tips on how to make the perfect burger. Plus there's a freebie! A Weber kettle grill was used by nearly all of the people in the videos.

Worst Weber in the History of the World! For the past 45 years, we've been using a Weber grill like this
3/5

This is the fourth time we've done something like this. This one has been re-engineered, and it's a complete disaster. To make the handle fit, we had to scavenge for our own hardware. The lid clings on by a hair's breadth. The lid slid into a nice holder on the side of our previous one. It's next to impossible to get rid of the ash can. It barely fits into the receiver, and attaching the can necessitates squeezing the handle and pushing it in just the right way. Although my hands are no longer as strong as they once were, I believe this would be difficult for anyone to use. To attach or remove this can, I must use channel locks and struggle. If I could, I'd return our previous Weber's ash can, which simply slid into a slot and was then locked by sliding it to the side. We are extremely dissatisfied with a product that we have supported for many years. I'm hesitant to use this grill because I'm afraid of having to empty the ash container.

In a fantastic new color, Weber quality at its best
5/5

We gave up our large gas grill when we downsized from our large family home to a townhouse with a small balcony, but we found we missed grilling a lot. We decided to buy a new charcoal grill because we prefer the flavor of foods grilled over charcoal to those cooked on the gas grill. Having previously owned several Webers of various sizes, this grill was an obvious choice, and my kids and I chipped in to purchase it for my extremely difficult-to-please wife. buy- in honor of my husband's birthday in November br>br>He adored the deep copper color, which we've used as an accent color throughout our home. br>br>It took only a few minutes to put together the grill. It's well-made and has a "high-end" appearance. br>br>While we usually only eat for the two of us, the grilling surface is large enough to accommodate cooking for a crowd. For a family gathering, I believe we made 12 burgers and a few hot dogs all at once. We've cooked chicken, grilled vegetables, steaks, pork roast, grilled pineapple, and more with it. In fact, I hardly ever use my stove these days! Adding a few extra toppings and cheese to a frozen pizza and baking it on the hot grill is one of our favorite quick meals. . . much better than take-out. out pizza, and it's so fast and easy! br>br>Ashes catchers on charcoal grills used to be messy and difficult to empty without becoming soot-covered. This is not the case with the new design, which does a better job of containing the ashes while also making cleanup a breeze. Before cooking, we spray the grates with a little olive oil spray to make cleaning them easier. There are also some useful "new" features, such as a non-heating lid handle and hooks for hanging your utensils. br>br>Most importantly, the grill takes up very little space on our small deck, even with its large cooking surface (unlike a bulky gas grill). br>br>We adore our Weber Kettle and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a grill.
