Yes, mine arrived yesterday, and, as John O mentioned, it will require some minor assembly before use - attaching the leg and handle covers - , but it only takes ten minutes to complete.
I have the charcoal-only model, but there is another model (Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go A small propane tank is used in the Anywhere Portable Propane Gas Grill (Model 1141001).
Yes, this is possible. On Weber, I discovered one. Com. After selecting charcoal, locate your go-anywhere grill, and then select accessories. It should bring up the replacement handles, as well as the charcoal grate and cooking grate. If the location has changed, contact Weber directly to place an order. I have a 13-year-old Genesis Platinum II and have never had a problem getting parts.
Yes, as long as the legs are clipped together, it will hold it fine. I cook blackened catfish in my cast iron pan. Because it's so close to the coals, it really heats up the pan. For the same reason, it's perfect for sear steaks. So I don't have to use my big grills for things like dates and yakitori.

It can cook two medium steaks or 6 to 8 pieces of chicken, depending on their size. I like to leave about a quarter of the grill rack free of charcoal so that I can move finished food there to keep it warm rather than on top of the coals. I also line the inside bottom of the grill with aluminum foil, but leave the holes on the side of the grill open while cooking, so that when I'm ready to dump the coals off the bottom grill shelf, it's super easy to clean and my grill will last even longer. I can simply fold the foil and toss it with the cooled coals. It grills beautifully, and once I've finished grilling and closed all the vents, it cools down quickly. I did buy a small aluminum table for 22 dollars to put it on so it would be off the ground. It took me about 5 minutes to attach the handles and legs to the grill when I first got it. The instructions were straightforward. This grill has made me very happy.
It's a fantastic grill that's incredibly simple to use. It appeals to me.
This purchase has made me extremely happy. In addition, I decided to get rid of the bottom metal rack in order to keep the coal above the pan (for ash collection). The coal was too close to my food with that rack in place; I was concerned about my food being burned. So I placed the burning coal directly on the grill's metal bottom, and everything worked out fine: no food was burned, and the metal bottom held up well against the coal.
This grill has been in our possession for at least two years. It's kept in the 5th Wheel's front storage compartment. It is simple to set up and dismantle. It does a good job of maintaining the temperature. We either set it up on top of the campsite grill or on a folding metal camp table. This grill is the best of all the portable grills we've used in our RVs.
This is, without a doubt, the best purchase my urban family made last year. We live in a city and don't have a yard, so we only get to grill when we go to a park or travel, and we've enjoyed lazy afternoons in the park and stopping at rest stops for lunch on long drives. When we are not using the grill, however, it must be stored indoors. This grill is more functional for our needs than Weber's round version, and it folds up nicely for storage in the trunk of our car. It easily fits into the two-bedroom apartment. We take it to the local park in a wheeled shopping cart, which fits nicely on the shelf. We used to have a Smokey Joe, which we enjoyed cooking on but found difficult to transport and store. br>br>I hope Weber considers families like mine in the future; perhaps a kit containing a small chimney starter, briquette container, grill brush/tongs, and spatula that fits inside this grill? That way, we'd be able to transport everything we require in a single package.
Wow, you have my admiration. This is a fantastic device! Only a small amount of charcoal is required. You don't need to soak the smoking chips if you use them. Simply toss a few (very few) on the hot coals before tossing whatever you're cooking on the grill. It takes no time at all to prepare a meal. Close the vents after you're finished. There is no longer any fire. The coals can be used again when you grill next time. This teeny-tiny grill has taken the place of my bigger one. I'm only using a quarter of the charcoal I was previously using. A slightly larger grilling surface would be the only thing standing in the way of a 5-star rating. We intend to transport this grill in our camper, and I seriously doubt that there will be enough space for four regular-sized steaks if we bring friends along. Also. The clip that holds the legs together while grilling isn't very good, but you don't need it anyway. Overall, this is a fantastic purchase. an unexpected delight.
First, I discovered what other people have said. Food is burned if the pan is too shallow. Worst of all, the metal was so cheap that it became so warped after the third use that the rack no longer fits in it. Because the rack slides around the lid, it's potentially dangerous. I'm incredibly disappointed. It's a waste of money. First and foremost, it is ridiculously overpriced, and getting only three uses at any price, even if it was $9, is ridiculous. It would still not be worth the money even if they gave me another one because I ordered right away. br>br>I'm really sad because I had one a few years ago that lasted a long time. This one lasted a week and a half. This isn't the grill for you if you're looking for a reliable travel companion. I would look elsewhere and would not have paid that much if I had been able to see it before purchasing it. The metal isn't up to par. I realize I'm probably just a grumpy old man, but it appears that things have become far too expensive, and quality has deteriorated.
