So. . . This remains a 5 star rating for me. The device has now been used around ten times and has proven to be a great tool. Through a few storms, I even left it outside with ashes in it without rust, and it came out looking like new.

I would not recommend buying this grill with the intention of setting it on a plastic lawn table and cooking a rack of lamb. If melted lawn table is your thing, then don't buy it. Thus, it goes without saying that this grill is in fact fine for what it is, and is better than a disposable aluminum foil grill. I'm thinking a kickbutt grill would be great to have when you just want to take your backpack and a small cooler down by If you arrive at the meeting site with no grill in tow and the people you're meeting look at you with concern, it's quite humorous. I bought this at the HEB in San Antonio A grill only uses half the charcoal, but it cooks REAL fast. After I've finished with it, I dump out the charcoal and throw it away when cooled down. I get a "light up" bag of charcoal (which I keep in my back pack) and it works great. It is made of aluminum. I rinse it off and make sure it is cool before folding My laptop case is an old charcoal bag that I made out of the bottom of a dirty backpack and when folded up and flattened is smaller than the laptop compartment in the backpack! It will take you only a few minutes to clean this guy up, and you'll be able to put it to a lot of use. This is a truly useful and portable tool that is well worth every penny!.
