This is the first time the baby has had a cigarette
3/5

If I could go back in time, I would have purchased a more expensive smoker. I'm currently working on that. If I were shopping in this price range, I'd go with the Pecos Old Country BBQ Pits. A Smoker that is more durable, heavier, and better constructed. You won't find a better smoker in this price range at MSRP. Anyway, I'd had this smoker for a year and a half. It isn't a bad cigarette to smoke. It doesn't get much better than this for the price. It accomplishes what it sets out to do. I used it to make some delectable viddles. However, due to its thin frame (i. e. lack of mass), you must babysit it. A good wireless thermometer is a good investment. This is a charcoal grill, but I use wood to cook on it. My firebox is on the side. I removed the grate and replaced it with a basket, and the wood works fine; I find it easier to keep the temperature consistent with wood than with charcoal briquettes. It has the potential to be a wonderful grill
3/5

but. Let us start with some of the positive aspects of this:
- It's solid, heavy-duty, and appears to be well-made.
- The grills are almost as heavy as the barrel section, indicating that this is a well-built product.
- Considering the size, the packaging was quite small/br>br>Now for the issues.
- It didn't come with an instruction manual, but it did come with a book bag. There is no book available.
- There was only one bolt/nut on the grill door handle. It was just that the other wasn't present.
- The grill had a large gouge in it that wasn't caused by shipping; it was in the box, which had no piercing marks.
- Another area of finish near the doors had been stripped off during production, but it was still allowed to pass through.
- The lid of the smoke stack isn't flush at all. In fact, there is 1/2 inch of space between it and the pipe. br>br>Overall, I gave it two stars because it is well built. If I ever figure out how to put it together because I don't have any instructions. It's Saturday, and they won't be able to help you. I'll look it up on the internet and go to the hardware store to get the bolt/nut I need, but I didn't pay for it. I PAID FOR THE COMPLETE PRODUCT, but it was never delivered.

Great grill, but it was dented and scratched when I received it
4/5

It was a good grill for the money ($300 including taxes), but it had over ten visible scratches and three dents. We put it together on cardboard and grass, as you can see in the first photo. My husband had missed the scratches and dents because it was covered in dust, which was easily removed with a damp towel later. When I arrived to assist him, he had already begun assembling the legs and had thoroughly inspected it. That's when I realized how many dents and scratches there were. I'll admit that the majority of the problems are on the backside of the grill, but since it's new, there shouldn't be any. We would do it if the box hadn't already been mangled when we opened it and we didn't need it for a 50-person BBQ right away. Overall, it appears that packing it back up is more of a hassle than dealing with the cosmetic issues; however, it is a good buy, and we would recommend it to charcoal and wood grillers. It was fairly simple to put together with a helping hand, and it's a solid, large piece that's well worth the money; it's just a shame it came with all the dents and scratches. It's just a part of life.

For the money, it was not what I expected
3/5

Overall, I'm pleased with my barrel grill and smoker (which I bought separately). The smoker was fairly easy to assemble by myself and is a good weight, but I believe I could have gotten comparable quality with a cheaper brand. The gasket for the chimney ripped right off, womp womp. So I've got greasy smoke leaking down the side of my grill, and I've already noticed how many leaks there are! If I pile on the charcoal, I can't seem to keep a temperature above 250/275 degrees. The paint on the inside of the smoker box and the grill is also peeling off, which is a disappointment. I previously owned another brand and did not experience the same amount of smoke or paint peeling issues. Personally, I don't care for the grill racks; I'd rather have cast iron than these coated ones. I'm not sure what they're made of or coated with, or how long they'll last, but I'm pretty good about keeping them clean and being nice to them in the process.

Dynaglo is not a company I would recommend buying a grill from
3/5

Dynaglo is not a company I would recommend buying a grill from. My lid had a welding defect (as shown in the photo), and the left hinge had broken away from the lid, necessitating a complete replacement of the assembly. Rather than dismantling the grill and returning it to Amazon, I opted for a warranty replacement lid. On two separate days, I spoke with two different customer service representatives, each of whom promised to respond the same day if I emailed them proof of purchase. They were unfriendly, and I've received no response as of yet. In my opinion, this is not excellent customer service.

decent

These are made in China and appear to have been sold previously under the Brinkmann brand. Due to the loose packing of all parts inside the barrel, the unit arrived with a few dents and scratches. Some areas of the vehicle did not receive a full coat of paint, resulting in rust when it was delivered. Its biggest flaw is the lack of an ash catcher. Around the lid, there are a lot of gaps. It's still good, but I wouldn't pay more than $100 for it right now.
